We had our Christmas party at the met. Everything was awful! Firstly, we were supposed to be seated upstairs, in the main area by the windows, which is quite nice! We were put in a different room that was just an ordinary room, so they can accommodate a wedding!! The service was awful. There was one waiter for food & drinks for 17 people!! They were not organized & definitely not capable of taking care of big groups at the same time! They had another wedding on the main floor. The prime ribs, salmon was so over done that we couldn't cut into it!! The chocolate pate was rock solid!! There was no butter for bread, we had to ask for it!! The large salad was smaller than an individual salad in any other restaurant. Once the bill was paid, the waiter was nowhere to be found. I would give it a NO star, if that was an option!!

This was a excellent facility, as time went on amenities seem to drop off, as did the special service. When it first opened, it was the place to have a function, or just a nice night out with special one special or with friends. Parking was fairly good, staff were friendly & professional, pricing was reasonable. Now as time went, it's not no where near what it used to be, hit & miss on every element within the facility.

Took my grandma out for mothers day brunch here with my kids, they didn't have any highchairs only booster seats so that was kind of tough for my little one. The buffet had an amazing spread. A chease station, salads, loads of desserts including creme brulee and cake pops which my son loved. The food was alright, i was really hoping the eggs benedict would be good but the hollandaise was very flavourless and off. We did enjoy ourselves though and they gave me a mimosa on the house. Can never go wrong with free alcohol.

Initial visit They were very accommodating and friendly. I did not make it up to the main dining area as I believe there was a party going on, but we ate in the lounge instead. We went for poutine week. Toscana Meatball Poutine. It was a good poutine, but we were thrown off by the aromatic basil that they used as a garnish. The actual poutine did not carry that flavor which was a shame, because it seemed to go very well with it. The fries weren't as crispy as I would have liked. Our favorite part was the meatball, but which we could eat seperately. Service 5 ? Ambiance 4 ? Food 3.5 ? We gave this a 4 star with hopes of returning to see their other offerings.
