Always very friendly and nice to talk to His son is big helper in store, always helping dad with sweeping n keeping store in order. Like a Lil boss hehehe always always go back at least every 2 weeks. Highly recommend that 50s barber shop

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible the guy charged me full price even though my son didn’t get his hair touched up, he was a toddler I get that, but nobody should charge full price for undone job. Will never recommend anyone I know to come here or go back there. Just awful.
Luckily His dad fixed the shotty job the guy half arsed attempted to do. We left unhappy and my son had a few pieces missing because the guy didn’t even try to cut his hair he just kept sighing loudly, his face said it all and he seemed annoyed by my son.
Don’t bring little ones here they are not good with kids and charge you for jobs they didn’t even do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dave is a real barber's barber for passion for the craft. Really nice guy to chat with and clearly knows what he's doing. The stellar reviews wen't BS and I'm happy to be going back to him again. I have serious trust issues with new barbers so kudos to Dave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THIS IS A REAL (and amazing) BARBER!!! It’s been 6 months since I moved to Nanaimo and this was the 3rd barber I had tried! The first 2 we’re either ‘stylist’s’ or ‘stoned’…..not sure which, but I walked out of both with a hat on, and it’s stayed on until today!!
A Barber Shop, with a classically trained Barber is hard to find nowadays!! Not only did I receive a great cut, but the conversation flowed easily and he was a true gentleman!! You’ve got my business from here on in and I’ll be recommending you to everyone!!
