Thadd found and helped me secure my dream home in a very tough Toronto market, at a tough time of year (middle of winter!). For me, choosing the right real estate agent is a critical first step in this exciting (and scary) process. To say that I'm picky would be a massive understatement - I had very specific (and borderline unreasonable asks) and Thadd demonstrated all the qualifications that were essential in my journey: Detailed market and neighborhood knowledge - Thadd would describe the history, current activities, future developments and market valuation trends of properties and areas we visited, with a level of detail far exceeding typical market reports and reflective of someone who is active and passionate about his profession. Hands-on, personal and proactive interactions - Thadd works with you directly (and not via staff or other associates) to get a detailed understanding of what you want, what you need, and help educate you on all possible options. He took the time to show me a number of properties, each with a specific purpose to confirm and refine my search parameters so that when the "right one" came along, we'd be ready to act quickly (more on that in a second). Experienced and savvy purchase and negotiation skills - being able to find a property is one thing, but the ability to close a deal is why we're all here. Thadd identified a property that he knew would be of high interest to me (and woke me up in the morning), took me for a visit that day, helped me prepare an offer, and closed the deal a day later, at 11pm on a Friday night. High moral character and trustworthiness - when you're making such an important purchase, you need someone that you can rely on to give you the facts, the truth, and to help you make the best decision possible and someone who will look out for your interests first. Thadd worked with me intensely and tirelessly for months and is someone that I trust and recommend without hesitation. We are very impressed with the performance of Thadd as our selling agent in the recent sale of our condo. First, his recommendation to use the services of a professional interior designer to stage the property was right on the money. At the same time Thadd thoroughly researched comparable sale transactions in the same neighborhood, and the resulting metrics enabled us to establish the most realistic selling price for our unit. Our spectacularly staged two-bedrooms, two bathrooms condo unit got an offer only one day after listing. During that time, Thadd assisted us very efficiently in the negotiations with the prospective buyers. The unit was sold within two days of receiving the offer, and we were happy with the final selling price. In our opinion, Thadd is a very professional and result-oriented real estate agent.

My wife and I recently moved back to Toronto and were looking to find a rental. Given how competitive the market is and the variety of options and considerations, finding the perfect rental was overwhelming to say the least. Thadd was recommended to us through a friend who had a positive experience and we were quickly in touch with him. Thadd took the time to quickly set up an initial meeting to get to know us better, get a sense of what we were looking for and let us know what was available. There's a ton of information out there, so this meeting was very helpful in setting expectations. Thadd was upfront while also very personable and down to earth. Thadd initially helped us set some criteria for our search and was both patient and understanding as our circumstances and criteria changed. Throughout the process, we always worked with him directly; he was always responsive through any channel (call, text, email) and was sure to keep us in the loop whenever there were updates. Besides being easy to work with, Thadd's knowledge and expertise really gave us confidence in making a decision. It was evident that Thadd has been in the industry for a while (and also teaches on the subject at a local college). He was able to leverage the experiences of his previous clients to navigate us through our rental journey which was especially helpful.
