These guys did an awesome job in our kitchen which had a few obstacles. Obstacles or not they found a way to design an awesome functional kitchen for us with flawless assembly. They had great communication between client and staff and kept me posted on everything that was being done for the entire duration of the project. If I needed a second kitchen I would use them again.

We are so pleased with how easy it was to work with TFK kitchens. They were fast to reply, flexible with timing and efficient with the actual install. The person who actually did the install was friendly, respectful and good at his job. Thanks for having this service!

TFK Kitchens was definitely an experience I would not do again or recommend anyone to go through this disaster. In saying that we like to thank Cheryl because she was amazing. She went out of her way to help us pick out what we needed and was always available if we had any questions. The rest of the team including the owner demonstrate adequate to poor craftsmanship/professionalism seeming to take shortcuts in performing their duties and responsibilities. We were without countertops for just over 2 weeks which they clearly stated that would likely happen but with a little more planning this inconvenience could have been mitigated. There was delays and I took a couple days off during the project when they said they would show up but fail due to do so. To be honest though not all delays were on them because we had to isolate due to the COVID-19 situation. Prior to TFK installing the cabinets we had new flooring installed in the house as well as the kitchen. The flooring was perfect until TFK kitchens came in. After they installed the cabinets my wife noticed the flooring in the kitchen was lifting up and had scratches on it. They were not going to doing anything had we not mentioned it to them. They blamed it all on us saying we did it until we provided them with pictures of the damage. During their re-installation of our flooring they had nothing but bad things to say about the previous installer. My wife was happy that they final agreed to replace the flooring at their cost but I am skeptical that they didn’t take it out of our money pot. After we told them near the end of renovations not to bother come in and we wanted the key back we noticed the floor lifting up again in the kitchen. Not wanting anything to do with these guys anymore we contacted the original installers to come and look at the floor. They agreed. They again proved to be unreliable and having questionable work ethics. For example they turned off a breaker to the dishwasher and never turned it back which left one room without power for us to discover when we returned home not knowing what the hell happened. What really got my goat was the fact after they installed out taps in our main level and our ensuite bathrooms which prevented us from opening our medicine cabinets. They told us if they wanted they could fix the problem at extra cost to us! We told them no and I have a reminder every morning of their poor work habits when brushing my teeth seeing this mess of a job done!!! Also, the backsplash they installed is now peeling off the wall Go figure!! In summary this whole renovation experience was a nightmare for both my wife and I. I truly would not recommend them to my worst enemy. This by no means is over for me.

We were connected to TFK Kitchens by Ikea when we purchased cabinets for a downstairs bar project (mini kitchen essentially) and large entertainment center. TFK was easy to work with, as were their associate suppliers/installers for the other components of the project like granite counters and and tile. All the tradespeople were very friendly and professional, the job was coordinated well and the TFK office staff were also very friendly and responsive. We were kept up to date with the project progress/trade scheduling and any adjustments to the original project quote was transparent. Definitely happy with our project.

We were referred to TFK through IKEA, and we have been nothing but happy with our experience! From the design stage through to the install, we have been very impressed with how responsive, professional, and timely they are. They also went out of their way to get the install done quickly, even during a difficult time with IKEA's supply chain issues. Our kitchen turned out amazing, and we would definitely recommend TFK to others.

I used TFK Kitchens to install a new kitchen in my mother's condo. We had a great experience overall and would use them again. A couple of their subcontractors were not great at showing up when they said they would, and we understood that days on site can change but a litter better communication would have been appreciated. They were very responsive and patient with any questions we had and were excellent at explaining things we didn't understand. At the end of the job they were excellent when discussing the final bill and, after I had approved the final cost they were very honest and stated that there were items that needed to be removed from the final bill that I had not noticed.

I purchased my complete kitchen from IKEA and was put in touch with TFK Kitchens, who I understand do all installs for IKEA. We strongly toyed with installing the kitchen ourselves, as this is something we have done in the past and I use to work at the UofA and oversaw large renovations. However, my life does not allow me time to oversee renos anymore so I decided to give these guys a try. I can not believe how patient and attentive this company has been. I will be the first to admit that I ask a million questions and want to be certain that every detail is accounted for. These guys have impressed me more than I thought was possible. As soon as we closed in on a start date a full schedule was sent to me and it covers every detail. One of the owners did the initial walk through - we needed more time and he came back at no charge. I listened to him explain the details to his crew today and it was if he was repeating back all the areas that were of the utmost importance to me. He cleaned constantly while he was here and his crew were charming and clearly well skilled. They even posted a sign on my front door that informs all trades entering my home to treat our property with respect. Anyone who enters our homes has to sign in and sign out. The list goes on...I am impressed and today was day one. I am a realist and I know things might not only be perfect, but if today was any indication, I believe that if there are any hiccups along the way - Marcel and his crew with make it right. I would 100% recommend this company. I can see why they have this contract with IKEA.

Wow! We worked with this amazing team, as they do installation for Ikea Kitchens. This team is amazing. First Cheryl came in and offered some great design suggestions, then Brett reached out (on time) to let us know when Craig would be in to install (again on time and what a great guy) Craig respected our home and treated it like he was working in his own home and did a fabulous job. They saved our bacon by providing an electrician and a tile installer when our prearranged trades people bailed out. The entire team is outstanding (that include Courtney in the office and the follow up installation fellow who’s name I can’t remember). The real bonus we have a showroom kitchen thanks to these professionals. Thank You TFK Kitchens.
