Except today i some how didnt place my order and desperately needed a few items. I called and spoke to this amazing woman who was runned off her feet but took the time to help me and my family have some groceries in for new years eve. Thank you so much for caring and treating us like we ment something to you. DIEM thank you again for your hard work and taking care of my family.
J	Jodi Gower on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were apologetic and seemed sincerely remorseful for selling a pre-made salad that gave me food poisoning - said they'd ensure staff were reminded of safe food handling practices. But then I found they keep ALL of the fresh basil WARM, and every pkg (8-9 of them) was rotten. So I went to Sobeys. YIG needs to sort some things out.

D	David McIntyre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picked up a pack of 3 submarine sandwiches for the ride back home (around 4pm). They were ALL SOGGY AND GROSS!!!!! I was so looking forward to a fresh sandwich but, once on the road it would have been a major inconvenience to return them. I'm guessing they don't have a lettuce spinner to dry the shredded lettuce. Might be worthwhile investing in one, for your customers sake.

Above all else, though, really proud to shop in a store that takes the pandemic seriously. Masking is mandatory - if you have a problem wearing one, do everyone a favor and order online... although then you can't make a huge "THEY'RE INFRINGING ON MY RIGHTS!" scene, but it's for the good of others.. a concept many seem not to understand, so this is probably falling on deaf ears. Anywho, keep it up YIG! Terry's the best!
C	Christin Adree on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to give more stars, but what is holding me back is the fact, that the groceries are costing more than I can afford. Of course there is one more grocery store with even more outrages prices in town. If I drive an extra 35 km from here, I can get food at a much better price with absolute good quality. For emergencies, and when I am in this area, I can get here about everything I am looking for. The produce is always nice, a little hot food section can satisfy immidiate hunger, and sometimes the reduced items in the bakery section can be awesome finds. The general reduced section, in a corner of the store is always a mess, and still Way too expensive. I like the dedicated holistic food section, and the seasonal has sometimes attractive offers. I really do not like the large clothing section, as a trade of for grocery options. Considering, that this is an everything but rich town, I hope that they will get a more affordable store eventually.
R	R R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been living here In gravenhurst for 7 years now and every time I go shopping at Yigs I’m always left feeling blue and defeated because of the fact that everyone who works there are absolutely miserable not friendly at all with the exception of Nola who has always bin helpful and friendly towards me. I was in today to pick up some sandwich meat and the old women working in that department today was very miserable and rude. Just please Terry teach your staff to do better!

Doesnt sound major but she was frustrated and kept apologizing but she really made an effort and I thought it looked good. She is a good worker so please get your staff proper tools and products to work with. Good workers like her are in demand.
