Very satisfied with a service provided from hair stylist Karina ,but disappointed with price paid for the service, that was owner decision. It was my second time here, drove 40 minutes from Transcona, just to make my hair with my favourite stylist. Paid about 80 $ first time for coloring my hair and 232 $ second time (added highlights for the same length of hair and hair cut ). When I asked explanation for the price , my hair stylist sad ,that the owner putted 225$ for 3 hours of work plus taxes ( 75 $ per hour) with everything and even haircut , that normally paid different price. From the time I entered salon and the time I finished coloring and haircut I should pay hourly.I came at 11.02 and my hair stylist was finishing with another client, therefore we started discuss how to color and cut my hair at 11.05, washing and waiting time was added too. I can understand when just coloring might be priced hourly , but why the rest...? (so I guess I was a special one ). I sad to Karina that we finished to color in 2.3 hours so it is reasonable to pay for this time and hair cut separate price in addition to that.The owner accepted and sad that I should pay 190 plus hair cut plus taxes( good that I had credit card, otherwise I could,t pay so much). I am quiet and polite customer, paid , no argue( because I didn't,t ask how they charge prior to appointment). But I felt that I was fooled around. No coming back for that way of pricing:)!

Being new to Canada, i was not sure where to go and my cousin told me about Terry’s. She has been taking her kid there for quite some time now. I had to go somewhere, a place nearby but i am glad no one was available there..lol. If that hadn’t happen I wouldn’t have gone to Terry’s and I couldn’t have met their awesome hair stylist. Although appointments are highly recommended, i was lucky that i was catered immediately on walk in and believe me, it was a great experience. I even took the name of the stylist so i make sure i book the appointment accordingly the next time..lol. Nominal charges, great service and awesome people!

The professionalism used by the booking staff needs work (customer blaming language ALERT: please see details further below). I understand we're fresh from a lockdown, which makes booking and logistics inherently chaotic, but on the bright side, Barb did great on my hair. Here was my dialog with the booking person: Me [June 29]: Hi, what is your next appointment? Them: June 30 at 11:30 with Abigail. Me: [Writing down detailing in my calendar as the phone call is conducted] Sounds, good, thanks! On the day of the appointment: Me: Hi, I have an appointment booking with Abigail at 11:30 am [give my name]. Them: We don't have an Abigail. Or a Patricia. Me: Okayyyyyyy... but I have it booked in my calendar. Them: You're not on here. Me: But it's in my calendar. Them: YOU must have misunderstood. YOU'RE not on here. You're on next Wednesday July 7. Me: Look, I had this conversation, I have it written down for June 30. Them: You're wrong. Thankfully, Barb took me in, since she was ahead fo schedule. The booking lady could learn a thing or 2 about kindness from her, and learn to use language that says "let me try and understand what is going on", rather than immediately accuse the customer for a misunderstanding that may not necessarily be any one party's fault. Especially when I tried VERY hard not to use the same blame language towards the business as the booking lady was using towards me. Here is what I suggest for next time, when it comes to dealing with scheduling conflicts. The above conversation accuses a party of being wrong. Me: Hi, I have an appointment booking with Abigail at 11:30 am [give my name]. Them: I am trying to find your name on here for this time, can you please go over the details with me again? Me: Here it is [show calendar]. Them: Looks like I have you booked in for Wednesday July 7, I wonder if there was a misunderstanding [rather than "YOU" must have misunderstood]? Can we compromise? Me: Yes, I'd be happy to.

Called to book an appointment, the lady who answered the phone booked me in for 3. Partly my fault I was running 5 minutes late. (yes 5 minutes and I'm about to pull into the parking lot) I get a call as I'm in the parking lot then she goes on to tell me how I'm going to make her late for her next client in the most rude, vulgar tone. As I go on to ask for diffrent times as she's giving me major attitude she hangs up on me... Asap before I could even spit out the words. Terrible customer service. If 5 minutes puts you back a client then don't over book yourself! Simple. (if you want a Karen cut I would go here)

Love this place! Showed them a picture of what I wanted done and they did it better. The staff are awesome and very welcoming. My eyebrows, hair dye, and cut were done perfectly. Checked all the boxes for me. I think I have finally found my go to hair salon!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE getting my hair done by the owner Theresa!! I've been going to her shop for over 5 years now. Every time I go in and have an idea, she gives me the style I want! My last experience in Nov 2021, she cut 7 inches off and I loved my new style and look that she recommended. Next time in, I have another idea for bit shorter hair and I'm already looking forward to my next appointment. I know she'll do another fabulous job for me. Thank you Theresa, I've been searching for a FABULOUS Hair Stylist Professional for years... I am so happy I met you!!
