About TEMPO, Mike's Service

Myth: All gasoline is created equal.

Fact: All gasoline sold in Canada meets minimum government standards.

Top Tier gasolines are the premium standard, backed by a consortium of automakers who recognize that minimum governmental standards do not go far enough to ensure protection and performance optimization. To be labeled Top Tier, a gasoline’s componentry must pass rigorous tests to guarantee consumers a premium level of protection.

I just took my brand new minivan to Mike's with the front end shaking. I told Mike the two front tires may need to be balanced so he agreed to put it on the hoist. His mechanic took the front rims off and immediately pulled the weights off the two tires and then proceeded to take off a huge deposit of solidified dust on each rim (which was obviously the problem). I asked Mike why he took the weights off when it was the dirt throwing it out of balance. He argued with me that it wouldn't have mattered and we had to also balance the two back rims. He said it would be the same thing if I had a bad tierod????? This guy swindled me, it was only a balance of two rims and tires but it was just some dirt which he admitted was the problem. If I hadn't argued with him I would have had to balance all four tires. You can not trust this guy. I had some reservations to post a bad review of a small town local business but If I can save someone some grief and money (especially if your short on cash like we all are) by taking you vehicle here I have to try.

Well I just had 4 new tires installed on my camper which I just bought today in Oxbow and they were done asap and I asked Mike if he could make sure they replace the valve stems. When I got the bill they were $20 for 4 and I thought they were a bit pricey but I paid the bill went outside and found the old ones were still on the rims. I then went back in a asked for my $20 back because they weren't changed and Mike proceeded to argue with me and said well I paid with credit card. My question was what the heck does that have to do with him charging me for something I never got. Mike argued non stop that he quoted the seller of the camper a debit card price on the phone not a credit card price so I should take it up with the seller. Now when I came in there I told him that the seller is outside and I just bought the camper from him. He still argued about it and said he didn't know who was who and that he had quoted a debit card price. I told Mike at my place of business its the same price no matter how you pay and if that is what you are going to do I suggest you inform the customer before you do any work on their vehicle. I was tired of arguing and asked are you not going to give me my $20 back and he reluctantly thew a $20 on the counter. I won't even get into the wheel torquing argument. I do not recommend having any work done here and there must be a reason why the bays were empty and that they got me in asap...
