Not only is he honest, attentive, hardworking, and knowledgeable (which are all great traits in a real estate agent), he genuinely cares. He put forth an extreme effort to get to know my wife and I, and acclimate to our requirements. He spent over three years helping us find our dream cottage, and never once showed any impatience or hesitance to guide us in our search. He was always available to answer our questions, and was very forthcoming with his ideas and opinions. We found this most refreshing and integral in our (very thorough, and ultimately successful) search for a vacation property. He very quickly became a dear friend, and continues to assist us by acting as a sounding board when we ask his opinion regarding renovations and augmentation to our cottage. He gave us unbiased thoughts on properties and was supportive and helpful throughout the closing process. We had no idea what to expect from a random selection. So this guy showed us a few places within our budget and he also showed us a few places that our place could look like. Those places were out of our range. The long and short of it is that Jim listened to our dreams of owning lakefront property and directed us in the direction that he felt we would like to go. At one point Jim even talked us out of purchasing one of the places that we liked. Good thing he did as we finally found our dream location and since then we currently reside there.
