Bad service to open a checking account, it takes several papers and elsewhere only the license, you adjust to other banks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Je suis partie aujourd’hui que pour faire un transfère de fonds à mon compte. On m’a dit « on ne fait pas ça ici » , sur un ton que je n’ai pas du tout apprécié. Après le superviseur a ajouté de prendre rendez vous ou d’appeler le service à la clientèle. Je n’ai jamais eu de soucis dans d’autres succursales. Peut-être il en manque un peu de la courtoisie.
I left today only to transfer funds to my account. I was told "we don't do that here", in a tone that I didn't like at all. After the supervisor added to make an appointment or call customer service. I've never had any issues at other locations. Perhaps it lacks a bit of courtesy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this bank last weekend. An American friend of mine needed to open up a Canadian checking account at a local bank in Quebec City since she will be moving there soon. Initially we went to Banque Nationale, 150 Blvd. Rene-Leveque E. My friend expressed her desire to open up a checking account, and we both were surprised when my friend was told that there was no one at the bank who could help her open up an account, but my friend would be able to do so if she wanted to schedule an appointment later in the week. It was a surreal experience since there were four people working in the bank. Anyway, a few blocks down the street, we discovered TD Canada Trust and we decided to go there. Once there, we were welcomed and helped by M. Guillaume Girard. We were very pleased with the efficient and excellent service that M. Girard provided. TD is really a stellar financial institution, and I am truly happy that my friend decided to open up her accounts there.
