I visited this branch today around 2pm, mainly because I was in a rush and it is usually not busy here. Thankfully I was the only customer the teller had to deal with but she was busy talking personal stuff to her co worker and did not listen to me correctly when I asked for my ‘previous cycle’ visa statement (so she gave me the recent one). On asking about the previous one she asked me if I do online banking and that every statement print out is chargeable because they don’t want to waste paper.. Yes, I also don’t like to waste paper myself, but my phone wasn’t working and I needed to know about the statement ASAP, but if she would have heard me clearly the first time and was not so keen on talking to her co worker about the party she was going to attend that evening, she would not have to give me the valuable advice that I already know of.

Went into this branch on November 29th, I have been with this bank for over 10 years and I have never had a cheque held. This was my preferred branch, but apparently this manager seems to make up her own policies about depositing cheques, so I will no longer be going to this one. Went to another TD right after and didn't have any issues, even spoke with the manager at the second location about the issues I had at this one and she was confused about this 'policy'. Manager(or supervisor, I am not sure. Also was not wearing her name tag.) was also rude, and kept interrupting me when I was explaining that their branch has previously done what they are now saying they cannot. This are my finances we are discussing, the least she could have done was listened and had an actual conversation. Very disappointing customer service.

I had been banking with TD for 14 years. I never had a problem with any branch until this one. My bank card was locked due to online purchases. I called the customer service number but since it was Covid they hung up and didn’t answer my call for 3 days. So I had to go into a branch. Lucky me, I chose the WORST one. So I headed in there with 3 pieces of government ID prepared for the security run down they give you when you have this happen. The teller didn’t know what to do so I asked for a manager. The “manager” also had no idea what to do. She told me I’d have to call the phone number and wait on hold. I told them I’m not leaving the branch until I have my money out of the account. I’d been dealing with this for days at this point so you can imagine my frustration trying to access MY OWN MONEY. So this woman calls the customer service number and hands me the phone. She tells me to sit and wait on the couch. I sat there for TWO HOURS. She walked by me probably 20 times without a word, without any concern. She could see me clear as day. She just acted like I wasn’t there. I don’t know if it’s because I’m young or because I am of Caucasian and aboriginal decent and this branch just picks on anyone that isn’t the same colour as they are ?!? But it was like I was invisible to all of them. After the second hour came and went, thankfully someone at the branch was paying attention. The door greeter. He walked over to me and said he would find a solution for me because 2 hours is unacceptable. And he did. Within 10 minutes he had my money out of my account and I was out the door. For a MANAGER to treat people with such disrespect, especially during such an unfamiliar time was absolutely APPALLING. This woman acted like I wasn’t even there, when I was for over 2 hours. Almost in tears there on the lobby couch. PATHETIC. I signed up for another bank account at BMO during the wait that day and I never did go back. Until today. I had to cancel my account. I literally avoided that entire bank just because of that experience and disregarded everything. So I walk in and up to a teller who AGAIN can’t do anything because I don’t have the right phone number on file. (My number has been the same for the last year.) And they wouldn’t accept my drivers license as ID. So I explain, and again no solution. So I ask for a manager. ( I see that she is the SAME MANAGER from the prior visit. So I just cringe and wonder what joyous experience I’ll leave TD with today. ) The manager DIDNT EVEN COME. She just stood at another counter (without a customer) and glared me down. I pointed right at her and explained to the tellers exactly what had happened my visit 3 months prior. They say there’s nothing they can do. All while the exact same manager that made me leave TD entirely sat there giving my the death glare and acting like I wasn’t even there, for the SECOND time. This place has some SERIOUS ISSUES that URGENTLY NEED TO BE ADDRESSED. If they can’t help someone properly and to the BEST of their ability because of their age or the colour of their skin, then they shouldn’t even be open for buisness. This TD branch is a disgrace and that manager should be ashamed of herself for the way she treats her long-time customers. And not even just only customers but human beings all around. I’ve never been happier to NOT have to deal with this kind of thing ANYMORE.

TD just gave 1.4 million dollars of donations for protests to the Ontario court. That is theft. Will be closing all of my accounts with them including both my mortgages.

My experience today at TD was fabulous. You can tell that Sonia’s manager has done an exceptional job training them. They were calm, efficient, kind and of the utmost graciousness. Thank you for the excellent assistance! As well I liked the phone charger feature at the counter, very useful.

Always long line up here. Always training new people. Tellers also do the jobs like applications for LOC and other things that should be done by specialists in a booth. Always understaffed. Tellers always need help from manager.
