In my situation my priority was to ensure that these difficult times were dealt with on a timely basis and for the maximum benefit of my children and their future.
Joanna at TC Family Law, not only came highly recommended, in my opinion came to my rescue. She fully understood law, the importance to the welfare of my children, and the short and long term effects that a settlement would have on my kids and myself.
Joanna clearly explained each issue to me and the law behind it in a way that I fully understood each issue, but also in an efficient matter that did not make me feel I was paying for unneeded services. She is to the point, was on top of my case, knew the inner workings of the legal system and the approach to take with the other party. She can be soft when diplomacy is called for, and tough as a bear when called upon. She ensured I made choices that were the best for me and my future. She made a world of difference

I was going through a very difficult time in my life and found Jennifer to be compassionate, knowledgeable and most importantly, highly competent. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unprofessional, they took forever and didn't complete our paperwork, charged outrageous price without finishing what was so simple. Tried to contact the office multiple times, receptionist first hang up on customers, we tried to call back, she just transferred the calls to nowhere, lawyer Jennifer Leung didn't pick up the phone or respond to our voicemails. We still don't know the status of our case. Worst experience ever! Could have done ourselves!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend Graeme Kluge. I felt very overwhelmed walking in to meet him the first time as I have never had to use a lawyer before. He was very honest and easy to talk with. He kept me up to date with current emails being sent between himself and the other lawyer, during the process. Speaks very professional in and outside of the court room. Very happy with all the staff the receptionist was always very kind as was his assistant which he told me I was free to ask her as many questions as well that I would have. Still waiting on the outcome of the court case but he has made the journey much less stressful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From beginning to end I did not have a positive experience with Mr. Lefaivre. I would not recommend to anyone who needs assistance with a sensitive family matter or court. You will just have to hire another lawyer to fix and interpret everything as I am doing.
He did not want to spend anytime explaining or interpreting legal situations and jargon, and seemed extremely inconvenienced when asked to clarify anything. None of my questions were good questions and I always left a conversation or email feeling more confused or told what a waste of money and services it was to clarify. It sometimes took days to hear back from him and I often felt like he just couldn’t be bothered and my time wasn’t valued. Because of this I have an Order that doesn’t work for me and my family situation. I am already having troubles with it and realizing how little it does.
I did not understand how minimal the legal documents I was settling with in court were until actually trying to claim an expense with my order. I would not recommend this lawyer or firm. Even after paying the bill within the hour another bill was sent because they found more expenses.
