Further to this, we regularly work with a private investigator to dig deeper into allegations and locate witnesses helpful to the defence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly the BEST firm I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, I started off with 12 cases about 57 charges ranging from Fraud, Theft, Breaches, VIN Altering, Trafficking Stolen Property, Fraudulent Concealment ECT.
I started off with a lawyer from a different firm that couldn’t answer his phone, and that didn’t go over disclosure with me and tried to persuade me Into pleading guilty to most of the charges.
King Defence is different, (Kayla Truong) answered every call and made time to go over my case with me. She even took the time to come visit me in Edmonton Remand to go over details of the case multiple times.
She walked me through the strength of the case and made sure I knew exactly what I was dealing with.
Kayla was honest and straight up with me even when it wasn’t something I wanted to hear, but I know that it was in my best interest .
Before most of the trials cases started getting withdrawn ! And one even ended in a stay of proceedings, in the end I think I ended up pleading guilty to 12 charges, and I got 11 months, and that is way better than what I was told by the old firm in the beginning. This firm is honest, they work hard, they take the time to properly defend you.
They filed charter applications , fought with the crown and fought for me, and that’s what a great lawyer does.
