This place is awesome. I absolutely love the variety of exercises and equipment. It's like heaven - you get a great workout that you can see and feel the results, while actually enjoying the workout. Marilyn is very knowledgeable, so you can tell that she has been trained well and knows a lot about pilates and stretching. She never forces me to do anything that is painful or uncomfortable for me, as I have a lot of old injuries from playing sports all my life. Rather, she has helped me strengthen my core and the areas of injury, so that I am not in constant pain. By doing pilates with Marilyn on a regular basis, I have been able to get back out on the playing field and tennis court and doing the things that I love, in addition to pilates. I cannot speak highly enough about this place. Go - you will not be disappointed!

Taylor made Pilates is the best! I went to Pilates with serious lower back issues and after only three months of committed work my back was 100% improved with the added bonus of feeling stronger and more aware of my body. I highly recommend Marilyn for Pilates. She is incredibly knowledgeable and committed to her studio practice.

My wife and I are retired and have been seeing Marilyn for a year. We wish we had started years earlier. We have learned that our prior work with personal trainers did not help the muscles we actually need. My wife's back problems have been reduced and my posture has been corrected and I am actually back to the height I was in university. I would recommend Marilyn for people of all ages as we have seen great success.

In my sessions, I find that Marilyn is dedicated to helping me improve physically. Her passion for my overall wellbeing shows clearly in her techniques and her approach. She has helped me build confidence and trust in myself. Taylor Made Pilates is as it sounds; tailored to one's individual needs in a quiet and welcoming environment.

I have two disc herniations that made it impossible to stand for more than 10 minutes at a time. After a few months of ongoing concerns despite physio and chiro/spinal traction, I finally went back to my physiotherapist who recommended Pilates. At first I was skeptical, now I tell everyone to try it. Marilyn is amazing at recognizing the problem and focusing on the good areas to help strengthen the 'bad' ones. I feel like my old self again for the most part. It will require maintenance as my herniation will always remain but at least I can function again and work-out, etc... Marilyn also gave a presentation at the medical school on the benefits of pilates for body awareness at work. Highly recommend her - you won't be disappointed.

My 11 year old daughter is a ballet dancer who will be training full-time in the fall of 2019. She began seeing Marilyn at the beginning of September, 2018, for Pilates and stretching, on account of Marilyn's experience as a Fascial Stretch Therapist. Since she began seeing Marilyn, she has been injury-free, and her flexibility, strength, and kinaesthetic awareness has improved immeasurably. Her dancing has improved dramatically as a result. Marilyn is patient and caring during her sessions with my daughter, and is able to instruct her without ever being authoritative or frustrated, which is no small feat with a pre-teen. My daughter loves waking up early every week for her session and feels she is less of a student, but more of a partner in her work with Marilyn. Marilyn is truly a professional who is invested in seeing her clients succeed and achieve their goals. Highly recommended.

Every time I am in Calgary I schedule as many Pilates workouts with Marilyn as I can. I wish I lived there full time and could go 3 or 4 times a week! I thought I was in pretty good shape before I started doing this, but I've gotten much stronger since I started doing Pilates and it is such a nice break from the regular gym workouts that I used to do. I actually look forward to these and I love using all of the equipment Marilyn has in her great studio. I feel like she really knows what she's doing and it has helped my back pain tremendously. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I am a beginner at Pilates and have special considerations due to a lower back issue. Marilyn trains me with an enormous amount of encouragement, expertise and challenges. She's patient and explains the details in a way I can understand why I'm meant to move in a particular way. I have had 6 sessions so far and definitely feel the benefits in my body. I am flexible again and my lower back feels more supported. If you're willing to work hard With Marilyn, I think she can make a huge difference in your fitness, posture and flexibility. 5 stars!
