Being new to these products (learned of it online, never visited Japan), Stanley was very friendly and great at explaining all there was to it and more. The traditional tatami style showroom/store was an amazing experience as well. Thanks for everything - we look forward to decades of improved posture and living closer to the ground!

My back loves the Shikibuton, and I feel more down to earth, in more ways than one ??? Thank you for being here ???✨♥️ The bed is very versatile. You can put it anywhere space allows for it, then pack it up, and create more space, or create a day couch until you are ready to lay down again. I love it!

The bed is so comfortable and it has greatly improved my quality of sleep. Stanley, the owner/salesman, is very friendly and he will make sure that you are comfortable with everything before buying.

Don't go with knockoff tatami mats - they may cost less, but they're made with chemicals and won't last. With Stanley, you absolutely get what you pay for, and the tatami mats he offers are the real deal that will last a lifetime if treated right.

Stanley gave excellent and thorough information about the models I was interested in, was able to make recommendations based on my needs, and made me feel super at ease in the gorgeously decorated space (right in the heart of Kensington Market!). It's clear from how he talks about his business, zaisu, and tatami that he cares about what he does. Another plus: arranged same-afternoon delivery to my home in a pinch. WOW. Would happily order from them again!
