M	M Walker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great small place I always enjoy. From Red Deer but Stop in once or twice a year. The service is wonderful if you speak Italian you will likely get even more personal service. We all ways get a L of sauce to take home.

But, at Tasty Tomato's, they managed to add a special taste to this plane food. I suspect, that a very important contributor to the excellence of this place is their, daily produced onsite, fresh pasta sauce. One place for improvement, would be a quality of the eatery's bread. It had no crust, which is very important to me, and reminded me not of the Italy, but of the week old bread from my fridge.

If you like mussels the tomato Gorgonzola sauce makes you reach for the bread to soak it up! As for the two linguine dishes well all I can say we’ll be back soon. Very friendly staff & great service!!

I had a friend in town with her two littles, and I’d been wanting to try Tasty Tomato for a while, so that’s where we went. I had a glass of house white, the Insalata Mista (salad), and one of their pasta specials; a generous seafood mix. The rest of the table had similar. They started us off with ice water and classic focaccia with olive oil and balsamic. I’m pretty sure the bread was house made as well. Everything was so fresh and well portioned, and almost no wait time. My friend’s two girls were a little rambunctious from a day spent adventuring at West Ed, but the wait staff were nothing but patient, accommodating, and gracious with our table through the whole experience. My only complaint is that they don’t stay open later, because I’m sure we could have made a longer evening of it, since we enjoyed it so much. Well done, Tasty Tomato!

The gnocchi melted in your mouth, the sauce was classic, the cannelloni were flavourful, the muscles in the garlic sauce were great and so was the house merlot wine. I would also recommend trying their Tiramisu. Has someone who is Italian and has travelled to Italy I can say if you want a classic Italian homemade meal you can’t go wrong with Tasty Tomato!
