They are up to par to other known places (aka Aladin bakery) for meat pies. They are fresh and really good. Try it, you will not be disappointed at all.

I also noticed they don’t use a wood fire oven so there wasn’t much crisp on the pies. Meat was well seasoned and had generous amounts of filling. They also offer shawarma and middle eastern breakfast items. Place was clean and all the cut veggies/ingredients looked well maintained and fresh.

The food was very fresh and tasty. The sweet sauce was the right level of sweetness not to overwhelm the food. The cheese pie was soft and cheese was stringy and tasty. They have a good selection of baklava and beverages. Take out is available.

I have tried their cheese pie, garlic potato's and falafel. None of them are very good. The garlic sauce is weird, not too much taste and it's like a fluffy paste, rather then a proper sauce. The falafel is also pretty stale and not too much to report. The cheese pie is dry and needs more cheese / butter to complete it. The bread is okay. I eat a lot of middle Eastern food and this one has been the worst one I've tried in Ottawa. I do highly recommend Phynicia in Barrhaven.

The chicken is seasoned perfectly. Some great desserts are also available. The staff are always happy and friendly. 5/5 you need to try this place if you never have before!
