★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved this place. We visited in July during our trip to Calgary. Their hand spun noodles and skewers are excellent. Prices are very reasonable too. I visited with family and all of us enjoyed our meal. At first, some of us were a bit thrown off by the lady who was serving us as she sounded a bit rude. But then a very friendly man (not sure whether he's the manager or owner) came by to ask if we liked our meal. And to be honest, the food was just so good we didn't care much about the service!
Will definitely go back if I visit Calgary again and I've been recommending this place to anyone I know who is visiting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had dinner here with the family and the food was absolutely phenomenal.
They specialize in northern Chinese cuisine so some of the dishes can pack some heat but the flavours were absolutely wonderful.
From the hand pulled noodles to the lamb skewers and the cold noodles with sesame sauce - everything we tried was delicious, made fresh to order and full of flavor. Their grilled meats are all charcoal grilled with a wonderful smoky flavor.
Highly recommend this restaurant and it's a welcome addition to the city of Calgary and China Town!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister tried to go yesterday and we were heartbroken to find out that the restaurant is closed indefinitely. It was the place we were looking forward to dining in the most now that covid restrictions eased up. Definitely regret not getting more takeout during covid but sadly live so far from this location. They have mouthwatering lamb skewers, the most amazing cold dishes (liangpi, gluten, cloud ear, etc.) and tons of delicious handpulled noodle dishes to choose from. The owner and staff are lovely people who've done a fantastic job bringing Northern style Chinese fare to Calgary (trust me, I've tried other places in Vancouver and Toronto and they don't even come close to Tang!) Miss you guys! Hope to eat here soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here to try some signature dishes from my hometown. The taste is close enough considering the lack of ingredients here in Canada. The skewers are great, a little pricy but close to the taste we have in the night market back in my hometown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this restaurant at least 50+ times now, and I still want their lamb skewers and BBQ leak every time I come to Calgary... Just Try. Stop missing out happiness in life. The place is clean and not so crowded for dine in now. Feel safe to dine in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place ! You absolutely have to try Spicy & Sour Pork noodle soup. It’s so good. And it really is spicy! They don’t dumb it down if your a gwailo , you get the real deal. The price is excellent too. Not a fancy place at all , but comfortable. And in the heart of China Town so you can slip out and grab some Chinese groceries or a bubble tea after your meal.
