Once again, I had the pleasure of eating at the Tandoori Maison today. I took my daughter - and my three year old granddaughter with me. It was their first time and I have lost count how many times I have had the pleasure of visiting this Jewel in the Crown Restaurant. From arrival to departure, the experience was wonderful (as usual) The greetings, the attentive staff and the amazing cuisine that is always served there - a truly amazing evening. My daughter and granddaughter both fell in love with the place - as I did many years ago. My daughter enjoyed her meal so much, she ordered a meal to go in order to enjoy it heated up in the coming days. If you are lucky enough to live close to this restaurant, don’t look for reasons not to go - I would urge you to go and enjoy a feast that you will not forget for a long time! I also firmly believe that your first visit will not be your last visit. Sadly, I live west of Toronto and can only attend on an occasional basis. I highly recommend this restaurant - it is my favourite Indian restaurant in Canada. Enjoy my friends. Steve Donohoe

Family owned restaurant. Very consistant. Love in the plate! We became friends through years but I've always been treated like a family member! Hats off Mo!

Disappointed. Not worth the price. 7 small bites of chicken swimming in a sauce that is very thin and too sweet. Tasted alright, but you can tell the meat was frozen.

It was my first time and ordered the 1/4 chicken tandoori plate and it was ok. I’ve had others that were better. The taste was there just not what I was used to. I rated this restaurant low because of the service. When picked up my order, it wasn’t in a bag, and when I asked for one, they told me I had to pay 20 cents. I had already paid for my order and didn’t have change. I didn’t want to charge my card such a small amount, and even if I could, why should I pay for a plastic bag when I’m taking picking up takeout. I mean, how do they deliver food to customers ??‍♀️???‍♀️ I’ve ordered lots of takeout and never had a restaurant charge me for a bag. I took the 3 containers and put them in a reusable bag I had in the trunk of my car and put it in The back. When I got home, the sauce from the tandoori chicken leaked on my back seat. I am very annoyed because the food wasn’t worth the mess. I will not be going back and shame on them for not applying common sense Food: 3/5 Customer Experience: 1/5 Customer service: 2/5

Kind and courteous service. Great staff. Next time I go...notice I said next time...I'm getting the Menu Degustation, a little bit of some select dishes at a real affordable price. Highly recommend.

My daughter and her friend (11 and 12) both wanted butter chicken. However the waitress said the portions were "adult size".. and therefore ordered 1 dish for them to share. To our shock and disbelief the "adult " portion of the chicken came in a tiny 3 x 4 inch bowl! They are supposed to share this? With some salad and few pieces of their so called Naan bread..To make it worse they both found it super SWEET..and tasted nothing like butter chicken. My daughter didnt eat it but her friend managed to eat it out of hunger..but was not happy. On the other hand my lamb curry was delicious! Perfectly spiced and tender..sauce was delicious. The bread was ok..Looked more like pita than Naan
