Talent Tree Art School

Talent tree is the best thing to ever happen to me. I have grown so much as an artist and as a person after taking 3 semesters here. Never view big name art schools as the only way to learn. Talent Tree is another and arguably the better way to get your art education. Highly recommended! I will post an image of one of the pieces I did for one of the classes.

The absolute best use of your time and money if you want practical, immediately applicable, industry level skills under your belt. The community is the most welcoming you'll ever find, and is a great place for both new artists and those looking to take their skills to the next level. Teachers are passionate about their craft and have an immense wealth of knowledge that they are eager to share. Talent Tree is the ultimate springboard for all of your artistic endeavours, and enrolling here is easily one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I have taken 3 classes with Talent Tree, and it has been an absolute game changer for me. I had been in a place where I didn’t know where to go with art, I wasn’t seeing any improvement and I wasn’t happy with anything. I decided to take classes to see if I could push past this rut, and I am so happy that I did. My artwork has improved dramatically over a short time. The classes are small and specialized. The instructors are people who work in the industry and have a lot of relevant knowledge that is very valuable to people who want to work in games or animation. Their techniques and workflow aren’t outdated and they do not need to follow a curriculum. The instructors take the time with every student to go over their homework in a way that benefits everyone in the class. Many of them are also available outside of classroom hours to help if you have questions. There is also a great online community where it is encouraged to share and help each other out. I am a graduate from animation school, and I am very thankful to the skills I have learned during that time; however, it wasn’t enough. Talent tree is different in that it can push you to go the extra mile and really specialize your skill set. The improvement in my work has been huge over such a small period of time. I was able to focus on where I was lacking and have been able to find work in the industry. The instruction really matters and I can not thank the people at talent tree enough for how they have helped me! I highly recommend taking classes here, and I look forward to taking more!

Talent Tree has helped me developed massively as an artist. Not only do the teachers care about their students, the small class sizes ensures that the teachers are able to give students the attention they need. The teachers also have professional experience in industry of their field. There is a positive community here as everyone treats each other like family. The classes are massively affordable for the timeless knowledge you get. Taking a class helped me get out of a depressive slump and push me forward towards making more art.

I highly recommend Talent Tree for anyone who is interested in concept art. Instructors are very informative and transparent about the industry expectations. The classes usually consist of lectures, in-class practice, and homework feedback. Classmates vary from complete beginners to industry professionals, so art newbies get to learn from their peers too! I will definitely take more classes here when I have the chance.

I throughly enjoyed my experience attending Talent Tree as a student! The vibes were relaxed and welcoming, and the instructors inspiring and approachable. There is a class for every skill level, within which the instructor will further tailor their lessons to your personal tastes and goals. I had always hoped to attend a digital painting class downtown, and felt like I was able to take away something valuable after each class. My expectations were easily surpassed! Definitely considering taking another course in the future.

I've taken 3 courses thus far at Talent Tree, I find the instructors go the extra mile in providing feedback and creating a work space for growth. Talent Tree helped me get more professional work and also provided a great community to become a part of. The instructors are flexible and very generous with their knowledge and time. The classes are very customization to the individual, your goals can be factored into the course if you vocalize them and think of productive ways to fit them in.

I studied printmaking in the middle east then went to Sheridan which was a huge difference that taught me a lot. Last year I heard about Talent Tree art school, I read about it and it sounded great so I decided to take 3 classes together. The amount of new information that I learned there was amazingly huge, the instructors are very friendly and caring for their students. The other thing I witnessed was on top of teaching the course elements, they follow up on students current skills and work hard to level it up to industry standards. I will definitely take more classes in the future. Talent Tree is very convenient that it is my all-time go to for advice, critique, advancing my art and making awesome friends. As a student I highly recommend it!
