The chef designs menus that are inventive, respect the quality of the ingredients and of high quality. visited La Table du Chef for the first time with friends who are big fans of the restaurant. They have often spoken of the restaurant so I was eager to try it for myself and am so glad we did.

The ambiance is relaxed, so it is a great place to talk and catch up with friends or family. The tasting menu with wine pairings is a treat that surprises me every time, and it has no equivalent anywhere else. You will find the best classical french know-how applied with a modern touch and local seasonal ingredients. La Table du Chef is always at the number one place I want to go to when I'm in Sherbrooke!

The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the ambience was spectacular!!! Be sure to try the Sesame crust fondant. We arrived late for our reservation. The waiter reminded us once that we had to leave at a certain time. No once we ever felt rushed.

From start to finish the service was outstanding; the hostess, waitress, and sommelier were kind, funny, and attentive. The food was delicious with good portion sizes and beautiful presentation; especially good were the pan-fried Angus beef fillet and the Guanaja chocolate fondant. The ambiance is cozy and warm: excellent for date night!

Foie gras was delicious, frog legs and scallops were bursting with flavor, pecan and pear cake desert was light and delicate and so good! Attentive and friendly service.
