I had a small hardscape project and had already bought my own pavers for the job, so not exactly a dream job for a landscaping company. But instead of passing my project off as too small, Spencer and his team brought a level of passion and professionalism to my backyard that I’d expect for a job 10 times the size. The communications were solid, the job was done well, and the follow through - even at a time like this - was 100%. This is a group of solid gents, and Spencer brings a creative and positive attitude to projects. Every time you look at your finished job, you shouldn’t have to remember the negative contractor who raised the price twice and never really finished it properly. With these lads, you get the final product you want and the good experience. My next door neighbour is already getting a quote...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hired Spence and his team Nov 2019 to completely renovated my back yard. Being completely illiterate in landscaping, I was nervous talking to him at the beginning because I don't know any trees or materials that he was talking about. But he was super patient. When I looked puzzled, he found pictures for my reference and explained to me the pros and cons of the options of materials, plants or stones. During the whole renovation, he was very open-minded and willing to listen, which is not easy. Spence not only helped design the landscaping plan, but also did all the shopping, installation, cleaning up the debris and all the detailed work. Spence and his team were very professional, dedicated, hard-working and consistently thoughtful doing their job from start to end. They did more than what's written int he contract, beyond the scope of the work. They did everything on time and on budget. My neighbors immediately started asking me for his number when they saw my new yard. I am really happy with their work and look forward to using their services in future years.

His journeyman Max was very experienced and skilled, and built us a fantastic patio space. Throughout the process Symbiotic Landscapes went out of their way to "go the extra mile" on our project.

I used to work in the landscaping industry but no longer have the tools or transportation to complete the project we had in mind, so we connected with Symbiotic after seeing one of their projects in our neighbourhood. I have nothing but great things to say about the company, their product, and their professionalism. Highly recommended and we would definitely work with them again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the pleasure of working with Spencer and his team at Symbiotic Landscapes for our yard overhaul this past fall. They were absolutely incredible to work with! They were professional, knowledgeable, caring and passionate about their work. I honestly can't say enough about them. The project required clearing and levelling our lot, bring in soil, laying down turf and forming beds for future planting. They followed through on every aspect of the project to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend Spencer and his team for any gardening or landscaping needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spencer and his team were great to work with. They were flexible and patient as we changed the scope of what we initially wanted done. They had helpful ideas but didn't try to sell us on anything. We had their team repair a fence, take down some play structures, re-level our backyard, build a pergola, and re-do the soft-scape (including adding a new gardening space). As we added on tasks, Spencer kept us posted on costs and was very good about assessing where and how we could save costs on certain items. They helped problem solve through some unexpected issues with our fence as well. Spencer's team was friendly, hard-working and did a good job of keeping the work site clean at the end of each day. Our yard looks much more spacious and bright and we look forward to enjoying family time in our new outdoor space.
