★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a British restaurant you would think they would take better care of there chips ours where soggy. Aside from that this little quintessential restaurant is an absolute hidden gem. I would recommend to any passer by or local. The food was affordable and delicious. Our service was amazing she was so polite and professional. Fish and chips is delicious I would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fabulous experience for our first time here. For a seemingly typical British pub, one dish we had was surprisingly delicious - the beef & brussels. Kind of a General Tso’s beef with sautéed brussel sprouts. The waitstaff were very good and engaging. The patio with a view of the river is worth mentioning too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time there but I will be back. Great atmosphere, super fish & chips (one piece is very generous) and excellent service despite being a very busy Saturday with a British car club in attendance. Definitely felt like a proper pub.

Now the pandemic is receding it seemed people wanted to get out and break bread and socialize again and it was packed on Wing Night. I tried the new (to me) Butter Chicken and thought it was good. It will be even better soon as they getting Nan to accompany it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I go out on Tuesday's for date night we try to go somewhere different and tonight we tried The Swan and it was so good. The place was packed but we were seated within 10 minutes. The waitress was awesome gave us some suggestions and she was bang on. The food was great .Fries are amazing I would go there just for them. Staff were so friendly will definitely go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take out lunch! With the pandemic I have been really trying to support local. Today I ordered lunch for 4 as takeout. First off. When I got home I realized they had prepared an entirely wrong meal for one of the meals.
I called them just to let them know. Their solution was to immediately prepare the correct meal for me to pick up.
100% approval of the solution. Everyone makes mistakes and it’s in the solutions that you see how much a business cares about their customers.
Now onto to food. Simply put- amazing! Particularly amazing was the Sausage and Mashed potatoes with Brussels sprouts.
Amazing value for the money. Do yourself a favour and order from these guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The atmosphere is amazingly spot-on stereotypical British pub.
Main course menu items are mostly things you could find in the UK as well. Had the Fish and Chips on this visit. It was a good serving size, but slightly over fried.
Somewhat disappointed that Smithwicks was out of stock, would have been great to see other British Isles beverage selections on the Bar list.
For dessert, adding some traditional British desserts to the menu, thinking Eton Mess or Sticky Toffee Pudding, would be ideal to cap off the meal. Current offerings are limited to a cheesecake or butter tarts.
Wait staff friendly, restaurant clean and tidy.
