About Svenda Ivan Piano Tuning&Repair
Ivan Svenda has completed his Masters Degree in Piano performance and Piano pedagogy in 1983 at Janacek’s Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, Czech Republic. After 2 years of full time piano teaching position at a music school in Czech Republic he emigrated to Canada and began teaching piano first at Manitoba Conservatory of Music and for the Preparatory Studies Division at the University of Manitoba and then has continued teaching piano at the private studio at his residence in River Heights until present day with the total of 33 years of piano teaching experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ivan was very quick to call me back to set up an appointment - his wife answered my phone and she was really kind. When he came over to tune my piano, I noticed that he was keen and thorough and he definitely knew what he was doing. He constantly checked how the piano sounded by playing couple tunes. He told me that he's a piano teacher, which explained his excellent playing. Anyways, I was really satisfied with his work and I would 100% recommend him to my friends. Thank you Ivan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ivan came to tune our piano this morning and we are very pleased! It sounds beautiful and he was able to also fix a few other minor problems as well.
I definitely recommend him! His price was very reasonable and being able to etransfer was so simple. He was also available at a very short notice right before Christmas which was such a blessing to us!
He was very courteous and pleasant and not bothered by the fact that my toddlers were nearby while he was working.
