The viewing was hassle free and we got to move in a short notice. They are quick to respond when there's any problem. Been living at our apartment for 2 years now.

Our fridge broke down last week. It is an emergency repair item as it is a necessity to living in a rental unit. Our property manager william tsi has not done his due diligence In getting our situation taken care of. We are now living without a fridge for over a week now. They also recieved our rental subsity for covid 19 wich they are refusing to reimburse us even thow it's there responsibility to considering we payed a full months rent upfront. Now our cat cost us 500 vet bill for getting sick. And we are living without being able to use our kitchen or store food In our home. Due to.not being payed our subsidy wich we are entitled to we are being forced to starve. We are all very sick in our home my co tenant and I have been fighting for a week. We are under mental and physical distress. We are not receiving proper customer service and are being forced to live in fear and are having not only our renters rights infringed but we are having our constitutional right infringed the constitution states no Canadian shall live in fear. We now have loan payments and cell phone payments to coming out on friday thT we cannot afford to pay and will incure late fees nsfs and interest. because we had to pay for our cats vet bill for being sick because our fridge broke down after we warned them it was acting up. They are responsible to deal with this as an emergency situation. A technician came a week later and told us not to be using the fridge. We now have no food or money and this is all happening during covid and I'm the only one working in the rental and now I cant work due to mental and physical distress. William tsi is not doing his job properly as a property manager and is in need of further training for his job. I still have not been contacted by his manager wich I have requested and there office is open. This is an emergency situation and I am being treated like the dirt on his boot. He is trying g to say he did not know about the fridge but I have the emails warning him before the fridge actually broke down. Now we have lost our grocierys in the fridge one day and then the freezer a few days later and it took a week for a technician to come and tell us the fridge is no good and should have been repaired a week ago. Now I am having to miss work due to having mental sickness and physical and not being able to eat.

I went to see the place for renting and at the end of the day, i wrote down rental application form. I was emailing with Wxxxiam, he told me that he is able to accomodate to move in from March. I had a question about contact and things, so i called him and he did not get the phone call. It was around 6?7 pm so i understood that he might having dinner and it was late time. I leave message and he didnt even reply me until now. I thought he already found new tenant. I do understand if he find a tenant who could move in to place earlier. But i think he should at least let me know that he found a new tenant or something so i could also look for another place. I wasn't sure if he found new tenant, or maybe my call and message didnt get to him. So i emailed him politely, he never reply me back. It is so unrespectful. I had to wait for his reply for whole weekdays. So i gave up. I now have to look for another rent place. I would never never recommand to find new place here or at least from him. If they found new tenant who can move in early, you will never get any contact or reply. Dont waste your time.

I wanted to see a place without disclosing all my personal information upfront, and this was the response I got: "You are asking me to meet up with a stranger with no references checked especially during a second wave exposing not only myself to an asymptomatic COVID but also the current tenants residing in the unit. I don’t think, I want to risk my time, energy, and health for a person whom I cannot carry out the reference checks for as I really want to save the showings for those who qualify on paper." Needles to say, I will never go through this agency....

Brian Hong at Sutton Select Property Management & Realty is a thorough professional. He helped us rent out our unit. All we did was make sure we kept the unit clean and tidy before the viewings. Brian advertised the place, arranged the viewings, gave us plenty of time to prepare, did the reference checks for potential tenants and finally, got the rental contract signed. Since this is the beginning of our professional relationship with Brian (and SSPMR), I am reserving 1 of the 5 stars in the review for future. At the end of this tenancy term, if I am truly satisfied with their management service, I will add another star and edit my review accordingly. But, for the services so far, a big thank you Brian!

I’ve had the pleasure to work with Brian from Sutton PM during the 2nd wave of covid late September 2020 and was able to locate a tenant for me quickly for my rental properly during a pandemic. I am very impressed with his professionalism and his knowledge of landlord/tenant policies and rights which comes across with his communication, thoroughness and detail analysis of potential renters reports that he provides. He is by the book which is a plus for landlords whom had difficulty with previous rental properties. As for Sutton PM as a company they have one of the lowest PM rates compared to other companies. Some of their process can be more streamline i.e There’s a lot of their policy and forms need that needs to be manually signed which gets cumbersome, this can be easily remedied by using Docusign instead. Also online access to account was only available upon request and not mentioned.

We were looking for a new place to live and Brian helped us out tremendously. From our very first interaction you could tell that he really cared. He’s thorough and a hard worker. He’s the type of person to not only care for tenants and keep their best interest in mind, but also works hard for the client and his company so that everyone is happy. In the end we didn’t take the place since we got an offer from our first choice, but his professionalism and friendly demeanour was definitely a consideration when we were deciding on the rental. He impressed me so much that I decided to write this review. I’d recommend him to any of my friends or family members.

As it stands, I can't recommend their strata property management services. I recently moved into my property and Boon Sim has been largely unresponsive. It has been nearly three weeks and I have not received my welcome package. I emailed with a few questions - one week later and still no reply. I had to call his number, which was not answered by him but his office. This does not inspire confidence in their services. Boon, I will amend this review when I see improvement.
