★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty food and good portion sizes. Generous amounts of filling. Ordered the beef roll and 2 x dynamite rolls. The beef was juicy and nicely sauced in teriyaki. The dynamite rolls were creamy and the tempura tasted freshly fried. The prices were decent for the amount of food you get and for Chilliwack. They also have good daily specials.
Service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant was clean and cozy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being disappointed by the varying degrees of quality from my previous sushi place, decided to try out Yama. After 3 orders Yama fails to disappoint, consistently great quality and freshness. Staff are kind and lovely! Will only order from here from now on.
Order the Volcano Roll. Just the absolute best!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. Actual Price is 20% higher than the menu. Well I can total understand because small businesses are having a hard time during this pandemic.
2. The menu says I get 6or 7 kinds of different fish in the Assorted sashimi however I only have tuna and salmon and they look soggy to me.
3. Dynamite Roll tastes pretty good, tempuras inside are crispy.
4 Beef teriyaki is about average, not very much beef but lots of vegetables, but it’s only $12.99
So I’m giving a 3 out of 5 in general.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good value for the quality and quantity. Delicious tasting fresh sushi. Large rolls will fill you up! Small restaurant with fair prices. Agedashi tofu was crispy and soft, so perfect! Service is a bit slow, try to call ahead of time for orders.
