My friend accompanied me and we went to the Surrey location. An employee, Mehak, assisted us. She was very friendly and articulated the value of my jewelry. She was very helpful!! I felt comfortable as she evaluated my items. Professional and honest. I'll definitely go back and my friend is wanting to return to bring her own jewelry!

The staff were very nice and helpful, and the whole process was very transparent and easy. I had complete trust that everything was being done honestly and I ended up actually getting a higher price for my gold than I was expecting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to surrey gold the second time and was helped by Amman, she was so calm. I had lot of small stuff and it took quite a while to check and quote the price but Amman had so much patience. I was very happy with the service provided by her. Got a very good price for my jewellery. First time Karla helped me and she is just as good. Both the girls are very professional and have very good customer service skills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surrey Gold Buyers is a great place to sell your gold jewellery. I went there at the end of January, and it was a pleasure to work with them! Rachel was very knowledgeable about gold, diamonds and gemstones. She went through each item I had with patience and care. She tested each item, weighed it and told me the price I would get for it. The price she offered me was great! She even worked through her lunch break to help me out!
Surrey Gold was an excellent choice for me. They offered me the best current market rate and have excellent customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prices are competitive, and it’s nice because they list them on their website so you can check ahead. The people working here are polite, professional, and attentive. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes. They have a little box of toys so kids have something to distract them while you’re there. The entry is gated, but my stroller fit through when they help, and they said a motorized wheelchair has even fit through. This is not a pawn shop; they specialize in metals and jewelry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why didn't I discover them sooner! For the last 15 years I went to my Bank where I had an account. Recently I was told by RBC that only precious metals, coins etc. bought from them in the past would be accepted! So does that mean that what would be considered "Legal Tender" is only legal if the Bank says so ?! Apparently they can do what they like! Anyway it's their loss. Previously I had to put up with Staff that didn't know how to fill out the forms, the Bank charging a handling fee, and once they even put the money in someone else's Account! Incompetence is the only way to describe Banks. I did have someone mention Surrey Gold on King George Blvd. between 102 and 104th. Pleasant and professional, no fuss, no waiting, no hidden fees, got my cheque in 15 minutes. Thank you! It was worth the drive from Mission B.C.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to see if this store was just like any other currency exchange store and left pleasantly surprised. My bullion was weighed and differentiated from other coins I brought in so I got above spot price for some limited addition coins. The gold was x-rayed and analyzed for the institution they originated from. There was no lineup, only two staff at desks making eye contact with manners I was surprised by. The reviews from other Google reviewers was what sent me to this outlet and they were right. I'll be back for buying or selling!
