I wish there was an opportunity to give this guy zero stars. Marc is a terrible communicator. When bringing up an issue with him and asking what his thoughts were on Facebook, all I got were thumbs up and one worded answers. He does not care about you as a customer. And the scam he’s running with this vegas trip is almost illegal. His lackies (specifically Ben) cannot be trusted as they will be insanely intoxicated while supposed to be working your function. No one knows what they’re doing. Please please please don’t hire these people.

Marc is a classy guy and will take good care of you on your special day or special event. He recently had the crowd dancing at the Selkirk Interlake Wedding Show! :-D

Absolutely HORRIBLE!! DJ showed up late, proceeded to get completely drunk and kept messing with the sound system when we tried to call our silent auction prizes. He refused our song requests, those of our guests, and played the same songs repeatedly. The music was so loud we had people complain. The DJ ended the night with the local RCMP. After a meeting with the owner, we were assured that this DJ no longer worked for him and settled on an amount for the “services” provided for our Social. The following business day my fiancé proceeded to get harassing phone calls at his place of work and numerous text messages from the DJ (who as it turns out still works for the company), calling him every name in the book. I am baffled how a business can be run this way! Also LOL that they have rated themselves 5 stars! ?

We hired a DJ from this company for a wedding On August 18 His name was Mackenzie. The Ceremony had a start time of 6:30. He arrived at 5:10 which was great! Everything went downhill from there. We provided a generator and power cord for him. He refused to do a sound check, my husband asked him 3x and I asked him 2x. At 6:00 he finally agreed to do a sound check, and nothing was working. We tried different power cords and made sure our generator was working only to finally figure out it was his power bar that wasn’t working! He didn’t solve anything-one of the guests had to help him figure out it was his power bar that wasn’t working! So we solved that problem, then proceeded to the next problem. He could not get adequate volume from the speaker. We eventually had to ask a guest for help, which the guest solved in 20 seconds by just turning the correct knob. (Has he ever done this before, is what we wondered?)Then we proceeded to the next problem, the cordless microphone did not work. He did try another one and then it seemed to work, only to have it fail when the ceremony started. ( we found out later he had a corded microphone he could have used, but never offered it to us) By now we are running late, which there was no reason for if he had done the sound check as soon as he arrived. The bridal party was waiting in the limo for him to get things together. He then said he didn’t know which songs he was to play?!? He had actually already shown me the list, so I’m not sure how he was suddenly confused about the songs. The bride had emailed a list and later he realized he had it right in front of him, but he hadn’t gotten anything ready to go. He was ill prepared and we are pretty sure by this time that he had never done this before. We had a different venue for the reception, we had asked if the DJ shortly after we had booked him if he wanted to set up there before the ceremony and we were told that there would be enough time to do it after the ceremony. I basically had to tell him to leave and go set up, he was just standing around after the ceremony was done. I clearly told him that there was a round table in the corner with black table cloth on it for him to use. When we arrived he was in the opposite corner using a different table so we had to move him because he didn’t listen to instructions. He blamed the fact that there was construction he had to drive through that had made him late, but the thing is everybody drove through the same construction and he was not set up by the time the wedding party arrived which caused them to have to sit and wait again in the limo for approximately half an hour. There are many more things that went wrong, but I think this gives you an idea of what we all had do deal with regarding him. We hired a DJ so that we would not need to stress or worry about the sound or music at the wedding, and I have to be honest and say that the DJ was the only stressful part of the entire day! The company still insists we pay full price for the service. We did not revcieve professional service, we had no mic for the ceremony, the dj caused the whole evening to be delayed which shortened the dance portion in half, he didn’t understand how to even use a mic properly. He has no basic knowledge of sound! Our guests figured out more things then he did! I would never recommend this company for a wedding or sound. The owner doesn’t listen to our concerns and expects full payment- we aren’t sure for what?! They already have half the payment, which guests have told us is way too much for the service we received.

This company doesn't even deserve 1 star. I attended an outdoor wedding on August 18th that this company was hired to provide sound for. We showed up 15 minutes before the wedding was supposed to begin and the mother of the groom looked flustered. After talking to her, she said the sound guy refused to do a sound check earlier and now he couldn't get the sound board to work. After a guest of the wedding came over, he figured out the problem and the sound board was then working. By the time he got it figured out, the wedding was delayed and there was no prelude music played. When the pastor went up to speak, the mic did not work. The entire service the pastor had to speak loudly so that people in the back could hear him. After the service, my friends and I were some of the last people to leave b/c we had to collect some chairs to bring to the reception. At least 3/4 of the guests had already left. The DJ did not seem in any hurry to leave and he arrived at the reception location about 10 minutes after we had. There were many guests in the building already and were getting seated to prepare for the reception. The DJ was very confused where he was supposed to set-up. As a guest, I went to go and see how I could help b/c at that point the wedding party vehicle had pulled up and they were waiting for the DJ to play their song but he was still waiting to set-up. He said the mic cable wouldn't be long enough in a space we thought would be suited for him to set-up since the space he was initially supposed to be at was already taken by guests. I asked him if we could try it, so I took the cables and there was plenty of length. We (guests) helped him move all his equipment so that he could set-up. It was so frustrating to see the wedding party wait on this guy who seemed to have no hurry in the world. During the reception when speeches were taking place, the sound guy seemed oblivious that the music should be turned off when people are talking. He seemed very unprofessional and untrained. I would not hire this company for my events. You'd be better off connecting an ipod and making sure your playlist gets played, b/c this wedding party didn't even have their chosen songs played. Spend your money on someone else or on an itunes subscription.
