Giving them starts only for good customer service and speedy delivery. Not impressed with the product though. Ordered 4 yards of lawn soil and it's just filled with small rocks. I have ordered top soil from other suppliers in the past and it never looked so bad. I just hope it doesn't ruine my lawn mower blade.

Summer project almost done and a big thank you to Super Soil. I have ordered over a dozen yards of Crushed Rock and 10 yards of Garden Soil. My last 5 yards will be delivered this week. Super Soil has amazing prices, they are prompt on delivery, and I have had no issues. I read the other posts about quality concerns and can only say that my experience with Super Soil has been fantastic. They are awesome and I am happy to support a local Cloverdale company.

Ordered the lawn turf soil. Ok soil but didn't like the glass chunks in it. Most of the glass chunks I found were about 1". Not so good to have this glass in a lawn with someone running around barefoot.

Zero stars if possible called to order a dirt bin, lady said she would call back 30 mins later try 2 days, ordered the bin another 3 days for it to arrive, needed a load of crusher dust ordered that Sunday am was told it would be delivered Monday by 4pm nope that didn't happen either try tues at 1230pm. I then called to inform then the soil bin was ready for pick up at 2pm tues and its not fri at 1pm and its still there. If you would like a headache and messed up schedule losing you money calls these people. But I'll never be calling them for anything again.

First off I ordered 2 trucks. 30 yards of soil and 5 yards of road base. If you are on any sort of weekly schedule please look else where as they have no respect for your wasted time. Called on a Friday told them what I needed. they gave me a price for soil but said they would call me on Saturday with road base price. No one Followed up with me. Ok no Worries. I call on Monday and they said I could have it delivered on Tuesday. After multiple calls They asked if Wednesday morning between 9-12 would work. Ok. Again multiple calls . Where are they, leaving the yard at 1:30 they say. ok. by 4 o'clock i finally get 1 truck. It is a half hours drive by the way. Where is the second truck? Oh there is too much traffic they say. huh. We can have it out to you first thing tomorrow morning. First thing I say. By 1 pm I call where is the truck. will be there in an hour . really. what happened to first thing in the morning . It should have already been loaded last night. Anyways 3 full days waiting around wasting my time and my money when i should have been one another site somewhere making money. FINI

I should have looked at the google reviews before purchasing from Supersoil. Ok so my experience with this place has been a wild ride, so buckle up! I wanted to order Garden soil, mushroom manure & mulch from the website, but the shopping cart would not let me have 3 different kinds of things in it at once. So I got the estimate from the website and called in to a salesperson. She gave me a quote for my order that was $100 more than I was expecting, so I asked if the taxes and delivery were bringing it to that price? She said yes. So I shrugged and agreed to the order. The next monday they delivered & didn't even attempt to separate the piles, the soil and mulch was mixed together quite badly (1st photo). The soil quality was not what was shown on their website, it is clumped together very heavily in organic chunks. Oddments I found in it while shoveling: A gigantic metal nail, bits of rope, glass, plastic scraps. The soil is not high quality or rich looking & it dries out so hard it needs to be broken up just to plant anything (2nd & 3rd photo for proof). I have no complaints about the mulch or manure, the quality seemed in line with what was advertised. I checked the invoice from the delivery and it was $80 more than the quote I was given! Getting in contact with them I was told that the salesperson had made a mistake & had not quoted the amount with taxes. I was to be given a partial refund for their mistake. Sure fine. Waited a month & no refund so I contacted them AGAIN & they apologized saying it hadn't been sent. They refunded me the full $80 conciliatorily. This is the only reason they get an additional star, for the manager's attempt to correct the many issues. Do not recommend for vegetable garden planting... the quality is good enough for filling in holes in the landscape, that's about it!

My family purchased 206 cubic yards of their alleged "lawn soil' during the summer of 2020. We were assured by the salesperson that this lawn soil was the perfect fit to top dress our front and back yard. However after applying the soil we realized it was filled with pebbles over an inch in diameter and also contained glass shards and other debris which looked like it came straight from a construction site. Im not sure how this could have been classified as lawn soil in the first place. After calling in the complain, my mother was contacted by Curtis who promised he would "fix the issue". When I followed up with Curtis he offered "20 percent off your next purchase" and 32 cubic yards for free. Im not sure exactly how this is supposed resolve any issues considering we needed 206 yards to cover our lawns in the first place. Curtis stood by his offer until I sent him pictures of the lawn soil at which point he offered the same discount but offered 50 cubic yards of lawn soil which I find absolutely insulting. I requested a refund due to the soil being not as advertised which Curtis denied. I then requested he provide me the same amount of soil we initially purchased to cover up the debris which Curtis also rejected. This summer my family and I have to go back and remove the individual shards of glass and redress the lawn soil. I have neighbours with young children who used to play in our yard before this fiasco but now I have to keep them off due to fear of them cutting their feet on the glass. I've never spoken with a such an evasive and unrepentant individual like Curtis. I've asked to speak with his direct supervisor and was denied. I've asked for a refund which was denied and any efforts I've made to compromise with Curtis have been ignored. I've seen other reviews where other purchasers received refunds for a situation nearly identical to ours. Bringing this issue up with Curtis he stated "we deal with these on a case by case basis". When pressed to explain why our situation was any different, Curtis responded with "again im going to offer you 20 percent off and 50 yards. That's it" Absolutely terrible management. I called to confirm pricing of 3 yards of gardening soil and the person I spoke to quoted me 3x what was quoted on the website. I asked if that was correct and she said it was. I rechecked the website and she still said it was the correct quote. I then called again and finally she rechecked and she said the original pricing I received was correct. I also requested to reschedule the delivery of the soil for a Saturday. They confirmed the delivery on Saturday but then they showed up at my door on a Tuesday. When Saturday came, I called to ask when the soil was being delivered and they said it would be delivered sometime today. I called again and the dispatch said it would be delivered by 3 and then again at 5 and it’s now past 5:45 and still hasn’t arrived. Even though they offer decent prices, you get the service that you pay for. I wouldn’t order from this company again.
