I think that I had been coming to this outfit since the early nineties. They sold me tires for no less than six or seven vehicles over the years. This particular morning I came to my 10:00 appointment for a new set of snow tires and was strongly advised that snow tires have to be on snow rims and not on the standard rims of the car. I agreed and had thought before I had come into the shop that I wanted a set of snow rims. After waiting about 45 mins. The salesman told me that they had ordered the wrong sized rims for the new tires but the proper rims were at the warehouse and could be at the shop by 3:00. I went off and returned again at that time and left the car with them. Without other transportation and not being offered to sit in the waiting room due to COVID restrictions, I wandered across the street to Shoppers World. I managed to occupy a little over an hour when I decided to grab a coffee an find myself a seat across from the Superior Garage. I saw my car in the bay on the hoist when I noticed they were taking my all season tires off the car and throwing them across the garage. I immediately crossed the street and confronted the person I had been dealing with about what they were doing. He then informed me that the snow rims that I was told to wait for and that were needed and strongly recommended were again the wrong size and so in order to secure at least the sale of the snow tires they hauled off my Michelin’s tossed them around the garage and did exactly what I was cautioned not to have done that morning. I reminded him of that and asked why hadn’t they just left me with my tires and call me when they got the snow rim issue resolved. I believe that at that time the salesperson said that actually it was fine to run snow tires on standard rims. They had managed to tie up the majority of my day and at the end held a greater priority to close at least the sale of a set of four snow tires rather than take the chance of a 30 year customer not coming back to have the job done as I wanted. Businesses change over time I guess.

The Superior Tire team at this location are pros and do a solid job. I've been a customer before, but today I dropped in hoping for a short notice winter/summer tire swap. They accommodated me immediately, at a great price, and did excellent work fast, even though they were quite busy. The Technician also pointed out that another tire outlet who did the original winter tire installation, had incorrectly installed 1 of the unidirectional tires the wrong way around. That was a huge help! Thank you! ✌️

It's always a good experience when I take my car here. They have always been willing to help me with my car tire and other auto issues. They are friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. They also helped me with a problem I was having with the latch on my hatch, and at no charge, prolonged the life!
