Sunshine Float Massage & Integrated Health Spa

I loved this place. They let me hook up my own music in the tank! I really value that as i find myself only able to truly relax to a few audio sounds. I went in the six foot tall tank and there was more than enough space! so much space. It was really nice compared to other float houses where you would have to scramble into a tiny one. I just walked right in standing up and closed the door! It would be perfect for people struggling with pain or joint issues. The woman at the front desk was so pleasant I really liked her. She had a really pure heart. The room was really nicely decorated with high end products for shampooing and conditioning. I am self conscious of my skin, it actually helped my acne. I like how they had a mirror inside the tank room so that i could put my makeup on freely before leaving. Other float houses may not have mirrors inside our private rooms

Very warm and inviting facility, super clean with beautiful murals on the floor and pictures of the coast on the walls. Their atmosphere puts my body into a state of wellbeing right away. The floating tanks are big and the rooms are quiet and warm for easy relaxation. I always leave the float house fully energized, it's such a treat you oughta try!

I’ve recently had the opportunity to have 1 hour sessions in the Infrared Sauna at Sunshine Float and just want to have a mini rave about them. Firstly I’d like to say what a great atmosphere there is in this establishment. There’s a pretty busy road outside but it’s so peaceful and serene inside, it really is like stepping into a sanctuary for an hour or so of self care, and if you’re worried about anything Covid-19 related, rest assured that this is an immaculately cleaned and kept place, they really have all that in hand, so that’s extra peace of mind for your visit. Back to my point. To complement healing with my physical issues I have recently started weekly infrared sauna sessions for an hour. It’s such a different experience to a regular sauna or steam room as the heat is dry and it doesn’t feel half as hot as it actually is. It’s really easy to tolerate, to meditate or just listen to the spa music. I’ve never over heated or felt faint or nauseous as I often have in a regular sauna. I drink a cup of water before going in and then sip away at 2 more while inside (don’t worry you won’t need the washroom). It’s almost disappointing when the time is up but then you realize how good you feel, I have a little more energy afterwards and feel amazingly relaxed. Tuesday nights I sleep the best and I have less pain which lasts for a couple of days. An added bonus is although on the scale I’m around the same weight as when I started I have dropped a whole size in my jeans, seriously, I don’t need to unbutton or unzip the old size ones to pull them down and they actually fall down as I walk in them! Is this totally attributed to the infrared sauna? I do eat healthily in general, am vegan and have recently been more mindful about drinking more water in the day, however chronic pain and multiple issues prevent much exercise especially high heat rate type. For the last 10 weeks I’ve been trying intermittent fasting (16:8), mainly to encourage cellular repair and in the hope of giving me an appetite (which it has), in the last 4 weeks I’ve also been using Zeolite (an oral mineral spray for chelation of heavy metals and other toxins we harbour and having had chemotherapy in the past it was recommended as extra support for my multiple issues), during those 10 weeks I’ve slowly lost 6lbs in total but the whole Jean size happened just last week after 3 infrared sauna sessions. I can only tell you my experience, and we are all unique, but if you are experiencing pain, fatigue, sluggish digestion, and sleeping difficulty I highly recommend this therapy. I noticed in their literature there are Infrared and Float sessions as a package, I haven’t tried the combination yet (I do love floating though) but it’s next on my wish list. Hi Pam, I just wanted to say that I LOVED floating. It was magical. At one point, a fleeting thought ran through my head of being back in my mothers womb...it's quite fascinating to have all sensory responses sort of put to the side and just float there in silence. Absolutely one of my favourite places on the Sunshine Coast! Floating here is soooo wonderfully calming, peaceful, relaxing and has relieved migraines for me. Such a beautiful escape. Looking forward to meeting the new owners of this incredible space. ?

The owner is super nice and made me feel super comfortable. Super clean and charming decor they even have a 2 people tank perfect for a date or a Friendly outing.

I would highly recommend the float as a gift to a new parent. I arrived a frazzled mom on a hectic weekend trip and left in a cloud of calm I hadn't felt in along time. Affordable, and arguably better than a traditional massage (I am touched out from my kids, and get caught chatting with the massage therapist). One session was a great reset, multiple sessions would be even better.

I had a great first time float here. The lady at the front desk was so kind and welcoming, and made me feel really comfortable! Awesome experience.
