Sunset Cove Resort is located in Nestor Falls, Ontario Canada which serves as the hub to some of the most spectacular fishing Canada has to offer. Our beautiful tourist town recently placed 2nd in WFN's ultimate fishing town. Sunset Cove Resort, located right on Lake of the Woods, has everything you will need to make your vacation a lifetime of precious memories. We are fully equipped with 7 modernized cabins that have air conditioning, heat, satellite tv, wifi, indoor washrooms and showers, your own BBQ, and fish fryers on our sand beach. Cabins are fully equipped with everything you will need. All you have to bring is your food and drinks. We are able to supply our guests and customers with everything from Cabin Rentals, Live Bait, Tackle, Boat Rentals, Professional Guide Service, Fishing, Ice Fishing, Clothing and Hunting Excursions. We also have a beach, canoes, paddle boats, and kayaks available free of charge for our guests. There is a boat launch on site for those of you who bring your own boat. Our landscape is nice and flat and right on Lake of the Woods. This makes for an easy and hassle free walk to the lake. We have a nice beach to relax, tan, watch sunsets or play games on. There is chairs and picnic tables on the beach surrounding a gorgeous fire pit. We just recently built a beautiful dock house over Lake of the Woods. The dock house has a large built in table bar that easily seats 20+ people around it. This is a popular gathering place during both the day and evening for our guests. We have over 250' of brand new docks with power at each dock slip. The sunsets at our resort are breath-taking!

Boats were no where near 18 feet bait shop was not open lacked hospitality small boat they did use has issues. Reservation incorrect. Management didn't care to resolve issues from guests that traveled a long distance . Very disappointing to have management seem annoyed with unsatisfied guests.
K	Kari Tully on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The website is VERY misleading. Cabins are advertised as water front but only 3 of them actually are, the rest are tucked in behind the main building. We could hardly even see the lake from our cabin (cabin 6). The website says they have chairs and benches outside the cabin for seating....they do not (they're actually located down at the beach). The website advertised a "water trampoline", it was broken when we got there. As you can see by the pictures, our cabin doors were held together by duct tape. The A/C only cooled off the kitchen, every single chair in the kitchen was falling apart (we brought in our fold-up camping chairs and sat on those) the exposed wires and electrical boxes were a huge safety hazard. We actually had a power surge during our stay and it fried my cell phone that was charging. The couch was ripped, the one bathroom wasn't operational, the beds were held up by blocks.

While the docks are really nice, and the location is wonderful, the lack of attention to cabin upkeep was disappointing. The owners do have a snazzy new top of the line truck and a tricked out guide boat though, so I guess that's something.

If you want to catch a ton of fish have him show you how to do it. I would definitely recommend this place for a Canadian experience. Michael Hundt Rockland, WI

Ice fishing and enjoying the beauty that surrounded us was more than I could of asked for. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I hope to one day return to such a magical place. Thank you!!!
