- Sunrise Records is a proud Canadian record store chain, founded in Toronto in 1977. Sunrise Records quickly became one of the five major record store chains in Canada, alongside HMV Canada, Music World, Sam the Record Man, and A&A Records.

β β β β β Good selection of stuff,great to see they jumped in to save the music and movie stores in Regina after HMV closed. You can buy stuff at great deal prices...regular pricing is..ok...movies from SCREAM Factory are atrociously priced but part of the problem is Scream as well. It is cheaper to buy them here than directly from SCREAM.
Movie selection isn't as wide as it used to be but if you are looking to expand your Criterion collection, check it out. Lots of other movies from other such publishers....and pricey...but you gotta pay for immediate satisfaction compared to mail order.

β β β β β Fantastic store with knowledgeable employees. The manager named Nathan is a great guy and a film expert. They will order anything you like if they don't have it. Favorite place to buy films and i enjoy frequenting this fine establishment. 10/10 recommend!

β β β β β I come in to bother the staff once or twice a month, and they treat me very well. I have known one fellow there for a loooooong time. He always forgets my name, and I return that by forgetting his. But we usually chat for a few minutes whether I buy something or not. The store has a VERY good anime selection, the best in the city, and has recently branched out into manga as well.
