The site was next to the river and the wildlife was so cool. um wizards carvings!? yes! Will be spending many more weekends there this summer.

They’re yours! We get in the site and some guy yells at us ALREADY BROKE RULE ONE and then we got kicked out of the campsite for having a less than 20 lbs dog in the car so they can have their dog sit in the road? It’s pretty dirty, and the customer service is lacking. Save your time, energy, and money and camp somewhere else.

I called ahead to ask if there was sites and she said there was, and asked how many PEOPLE. We get in, and their dog is wandering around, no leash, literally in front of my car. After the dog moves, we go down and some random guy starts yelling for an attendant and she comes over and tells us to leave because we have a dog and said “should have mentioned it on the phone”. No lady, YOU should have mentioned that you don’t allow dogs in the whole campsite so yours can wander in front of cars or whatever. Terrible, terrible customer service, & campsite is dirty. Do NOT recommend

Upon arriving after a long,hot day of pedaling, Fran (owner w/Heinrich) greeted me with a generous smile. She paused, left me standing then returned with an ice cold beer. I have never met more gracious, beautiful people. They are more than camp owners, they became instant friends who live a very creative and unique life. We camped next to the creek. In the water is a largish wooden raft—think Huck Finn. I took it out with a huge push-stick under the starry skies with noise and campfire flame my beacon back. The night was perfect. Soft, flat ground. Very clean sites and lots to explore of other people’s creativity. I fell asleep to a screech owl beckoning the night. I live in CO but will be sure to return to this utopia.

W	Wendy Hamilton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place full of character, some trees have wizards carves into them, absolutely incredible! There's a stage too, I'm guessing a lot of raves happen there. Clean and spacious, lovely owners, not too strict on checkout times either, they love that people enjoy their space. 10 bucks a nights isn't too shabby, but there is no potable water so make sure to bring enough of that. They have dogs and donkeys roaming around, which I guess is safer than cougars and bears but equally dangerous for your food, hahaha. Would absolutely come again!
