It was a beautiful location to have a course. The lake is close by and this is definitely the school on the hill. Great food :)

We have two children attending this school and can not speak highly enough of our experiences. It means a lot to have children who look forward to returning to school after breaks. The whole school environment makes the students feel safe, accepted and cared about where they enjoy learning, stay active and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Shawnigan Lake and Mount Baldie

We recently enrolled in SJA and we are so happy with our decision to do so. Our daughter looks forward to going to school every day. She comes home with lots to tell us; gone are the days of a "shrug and an 'I dunno' "when asked what she did at school. Her teacher is engaging, kind, organized, and very accessible to parents. Her days are filled with current learning methods that incorporate technology and hands-on-learning. Her classroom environment is welcoming and has a lovely community feel to it; you get the immediate sense that every student feels heard and valued. The classrooms are modern and clean, and filled with natural light. The school itself is an absolutely beautiful place that we feel good about dropping her off at each morning. The focus on outdoor education is excellent and you can tell this school has made it a true priority. They make use of their fabulous lakefront and forested property in a variety of ways that really engage students and provide them with novel experiences. The school's procedures and communications with parents are easy, technologically current, and organized. You can tell a lot of thought goes into how the school chooses to conduct everything they do. The admin and office staff are friendly and efficient and very responsive to parent questions. We've really appreciated the school's involvement in various sporting events and the opportunities it has provided for our daughter. The enthusiasm that the staff shows for extracurricular activities is a breath of fresh air. We'd highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for an enriched learning environment for their child.

It was a beautiful location with private dock and hill. Teachers are so nice.They care about students future. Great food :)

We are extremely happy having our kids in the school. My oldest started its first year his sister followed the next year and we are eagerly waiting for our youngest to join them. The best choice we have made pertaining to our children and their education to date. We are forever grateful to the wonderful staff who all actually care about the students and want them to succeed.

Really great experience at St Johns Academy. Very hospitable folks. We found ourselves in a bind last summer and St Johns stepped up and provided with great accommodations, food and facilities.
