If you are considering a property built by this developer, run and hide!! We have bought and built properties all across Canada and the post purchase service by Sunmark is by far the worst we have ever experienced. The company refuses to return phone calls and has made no effort to address a long list of deficiencies that exist. We will be pursuing follow up action through the warranty process.

I bought a unit at Keaton a couple years ago and love my unit! The builder kindly coordinated with me to add a few custom built shelves and they look great! Definitely recommend their communities to those looking!

If I could give them zero stars I would. However the one star will be for when they came back to fix the paint problems. First off... Sales lady. Blatantly lied to me about the size of the master bedroom. When I purchased the house it wasn't built yet so I couldn't exactly see it. However, I was assured that my floor plan had the same size master bedroom as the one in the show home. After all that was the biggest reason for me to purchase this house. I was fine with an awkward kitchen in the middle, but as long as my master was the 15' by 17' roughly as the show home, I will live with the rest. Possession day. Master bedroom 11.3' X 12.2' !!!! NOT REMOTELY CLOSE. Then to be told that it was never discussed by the sales lady? Good Lord. Even my realtor agreed that we had spoken about it, numerous times, not just once. Starting off a bad process before I even move in... Next, A reminder that this is a BRAND NEW townhouse in Langley, for over 600k. The amount of deficiencies were crazy! That being said I wrote all of them down and sent them in so they could be fixed. They did come by and fix the paint issues, but never heard from them again. Even after multiple emails. Then the vice president of Sunmark replied to my email in July (I purchased the house the previous November and that's when my emails started being sent.) saying I had to wait until closer to Nov to have these addressed. Why?? Not a clue.. but I'l continue to be annoyed with all my green tape for another 4 months.. as long as they DO IN FACT get fixed. November comes and goes. Its now almost February and I reached out again. The email I received back was frustrating. "I suggest you read your manual so you know what is under warranty". There is literal GOUGES in all of my toilet seats on top. The kitchen sink was scratched up. The patio curtains look like they have a burn mark in them. The heater in the kitchen is dented... and I'm just getting started. I have now contacted a lawyer to see what my options are if they do choose not to fix/replace any of these problems that were there Day 1. I strongly suggest purchasing from another development. My next house in 5 years will definitely not be purchased from them. - Unsatisfyed Customer

We purchased a home from Sunmark at their Keaton project in Langley. The sales staff was really helpful in finding a home within our budget and getting the builder to include a washer and dryer within the price. After a year, in our upstairs we had screws coming out of our drywall in two bedrooms. They fixed all of those and a broken faucet. Otherwise, the home has been great and we love our area and neighbors.

People don't often stop & say "Thank you!" in these busy times but I wanted to take the time to let Shae & Asal know what great service they provided me & my Buyers at Sterling. This sales team took it above & beyond & were excellent to work with! And my clients are very happy with their purchase of their first home! After comparing other townhomes in the area, Sterling won out due to the convenient location, thoughtful floor plan ( 3 bedroom) & fantastic kitchens! I mean solid wood cabinets is not common today in most townhomes, typically a custom feature. Gas range & barb-b-que outlets was standard ( not an upgrade) & what I noticed was the painted ceilings with lots of pot lights ( not the popcorn sprayed ceilings that I have in my home ). The exteriors are good quality too, James Hardy siding & stone accent and I love the bright red doors, they're fun and welcoming. Great job Sunmark and thanks so much girls for the excellent service, I'll see if I can bring another Buyer your way before you're sold out.
