D	David Robson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been coming for years. The cottages are basic and small, but the location can't be beat. The beach is right in front of the cottages, with some swings and a volleyball court for the kids. A great place to come with a few families in the summer.

Perfect little family cottages on South Sauble, right beside the Trading Post. Comfy beds, well laid out cottages, firepits, a playground and AMAZING sunsets every night. Wi-Fi, ice cream next door and regular fireworks on the beach. Kids play in the lake all day, we sit on the shore and relax. A short drive to either SaubVegas or Southampton for dinner or groceries.

Cathe and Doug were very helpful .. self housekeeping cottage in excellent spot right front of the beach , very family oriented , quiet , safe , basic furniture but have all you need to relax and enjoy a family vacation. We took a lot of kitchen stuff from home with us but found everything was there available , we loved the BBQ , Fire Pit , Volleyball, walking on the beach, shopping from Sauble beach shops , beaver tail :) ...etc. Kids asked to book for next season from now which we will do. The only thing was not great like others was the queen mattress at the double room and slow WiFi.

Everything is almost available in the cottage, you may only have your small air fans for bedrooms and your personal stuff. Can see some renovation in the new pics and look forward to enjoy our upcoming vacation.

We have been with Sundown since 2003 and happy to heading up for our 18th year with them. It is simply an amazing trip to Sundown. The owners Cathe and Doug have really changed the way we cottage. They are thoughtful, caring and provide the upkeep these cottages need. In the past (about 10 years ago) we felt the cottages were falling apart and not enough time and care was put into them. I think this is Year 4 for Cathe and Doug and we have had zero complaints. You will not regret staying here. The cottages are rustic mind you. However, meet my expectations and your really just sleeping in them. To be so close to the beach (park the car for the week) and have zero worries for your kid’s safety. The Trading Post is seconds from these cottages and provide everything you need. Ice Cream is the best! Do not worry when booking, you will have a great time. My kids look forward to this every year above all other trips. Just a tip from a cottager - bring fans you will need them! I think the best way to describe the stay is basic and stress free.
L	Linda Ellis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the walk from the porch, on the sand, directly to the beach!!! Doug & Cathe were extremely accommodating. Yes, dated facilities, but it's a cottage!!!! Rustic is a more suitable word! :) Location is fantastic!! And if you've never been to Sauble Beach before, I heard many comments from "first timers" that it is comparable to the Caribbean beaches! Can't wait to go back.
