★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So many golf carts buzzing around like people had nothing to do but drive around all day. Fishing sucked water was algae infested and no sewer hookups. Rates are expensive but park is clean overall. Transients will be less next year because more park models are being encouraged to occupy this park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been staying at Pickerel Park as a seasonal for 5 years and cannot say enough of this place. Great people and beautiful park and lots of activities. The office staff is very helpful. Highly recommend the park for seasonal or transient guests.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When my wife and I were booking sites for us and another couple we make sure that the sites are big enough as we have 40' and 30' trailers. We thought that everything was fine as the website said that the sites were 45' and the pics looked good. Boy was that wrong! The sites we booked were terrible. First off there was no way I could fit our trailer on it and secondly the site was on such a slope there was just no way to level the trailer. They moved us which was good but still had issue with the small size of site. We had to shoe horn the trailers in on an angle to make them fit.
We did have a problem with our propane and the rv teck came and helped, didn't charge us, so that was good.
Pool was not open they were waiting on parts.
There is a boat launch and swimming area.
Overall: nice staff, misleading info online, don't think I will be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The seasonal campers are incredibly rude, and very unwelcoming - the seasonals across the path from us did nothing but stare at us the entire time, looking for things to complain about.
If the entitled seasonals were out of the park, and you weren't cramped together like sardines with little to no privacy, surely the park would be better.
I'll be sticking with provincial parks from now on and I very much recommend others do the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our site decent. But cleanliness was something to do desired! During these crazy times washrooms weren't cleaned up on a schedule and the fire pits for tent sites across from us were not cleaned out all week. Garbage and broken bottles!!! The playground had garbage everywhere!!! No garbage cans anywhere at the playground or throughout the park!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little park, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a bit of a view of the lake, from the site, pool was very clean and refreshing, and a nice size playground , washrooms could use an exhaust fan to cool them down a bit and circulate some air but were kept clean and taken care of. I enjoyed my stay but I wouldn't recommend site 126 as its directly in front of the dump station but other than the smell at times, it was a really great stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are super friendly and very helpful!!! The park is very clean and has lots of fun activities for kids and adults. It is a very quiet, friendly and safe park. It is very family orientated and we have felt welcomed from the minute we arrived. Our granddaughters love it here and so do we. We would highly recommend to others.
