Let me say that the product we have now completely finished and assembled is great and we are very happy but beware of how this company works. Very deceiving! First the product was delivered 3 months behind schedule. We payed nearly 2 thousand US dollars extra to have it "pre assembled" which is a stretch to say the least. We were told this meant 6 to 10 pieces. We had around 4 or 5 hundred pieces to put together. We were also told that assembly is a weekend project by 2 men of average skill. In our case it was myself of average skill and one friend who is a master carpenter of 30 years and it took us 11 eight hour days. This is with all the luxuries of a contractors professional equipment and tools too. We also had to purchase about a thousand dollars of extra parts and supplies needed to finish the job and make it actually weather proof and water tight. So bottom line, you will get a great product..... If you put in the work because summerwood does not!

We love our Summerwood pool shed. From start to finish the experience was seamless. Loved the customization to designing our shed and John was responsive and helpful with our questions. Lots of colour selections and styles to work with. It's almost finished...just need to add shingles.

I built my first Summerwood 7'X14' Palmerston garden shed back in 1996. After moving to another house I built the same 7'X14' Palmerston garden shed in 2004. Friends and family that came into the backyard would always comment on how great the shed looked and it was a focal point in the yard and blended well with our gardens. Both sheds that I built were strong and durable. As I built both of these myself I found the plans to be very easy to follow. I would highly recommend Summerwood products.

Purchased our first Summerwood about 10-years ago for our home in Mississauga. It was a Palmerston model and the cornerstone for our back-yard design. We loved it! We moved to Caledon 2-years ago, and found the thing we missed the most about our previous home was the Summerwood! We purchased a Glen Echo in the spring of this year. The Summerwood team worked closely with us to do some customization to the design, and the outcome is superb! It is gorgeous and the level of quality is even better since our last build. If we move again, and I am certain we will, another Summerwood will be included in the plan. Love the team at Summerwood, and the product is second to none.

For many years, my partner and I wanted to create something special in our backyard to enjoy all year round. We received a referral from one of our contractors, who highly recommended Summerwood. We visited their shop and created a detailed summary of what we were looking for. Out of all of the options, the 'Barside' totally met all of our needs. They were very accommodating to customize our "Barside" from the original plan. We chose the "pre-assembled" package and our shipment arrived on time. The delivery process was seamless. They even were kind enough to extend our delivery to coordinate with the completion of our landscaping in our rear yard. We attempted to construct the 'Barside' on our own. Ray, in the engineering department, provided us with a lot of guidance and reassurance over the phone and through email. Over the weekend, a few of the other gentlemen in the shop were able to answer a few of our questions. After a weekend of construction, we realized we may have bit off more than we could chew. We would highly, highly, highly recommend you allow the Summerwood team to build your project for you. We reached out to Maya and the team and they were amazing. They were able to price out the remainder completion and accommodate a schedule that worked great for us. Thank you to all of the contractors who visited our home. We did experience a few hiccups with our position of our concrete pad (an error on our part) and their team was able to make the necessary changes to rectify this concern. Overall, our experience has been phenomenal. We would recommend Summerwood to anyone that wants to create a unique space in their backyard oasis!

We bought one of Summerwood's larger potting sheds back in 2006, 15 years ago. Love it - it's big enough for me to have my woodworking workshop at one end. After 15 years, some siding needed replacing. Maya at Summerwood was wonderful to work with - very professional and helpful, despite the fact that this was a rather small order. This is an excellent outfit with a fine product and staff that go out of their way.

Last summer we had been looking for a company to build a studio for us in our backyard. Not only did we reach out to this company over half a dozen times via calls and emails but we visited their location twice. Never received any formal quotation and meeting staff in person was no better. Ended up going with a different, more responsive company.

We have a beautiful backyard shed from Summerwood. Over many years, the flower boxes rotted (as expected). When I contacted Summerwood to inquire about purchasing some replacements, they delivered to my door BEAUTIFUL, solid wood flower boxes FREE OF CHARGE. No questions asked. Talk about service! Absolutely thrilled.
