At Sullivan + Associates, we are a team of Master's and Doctoral-level mental health professionals committed to providing high-quality psychological services in Thunder Bay and throughout Northwestern Ontario. We offer comprehensive psychological assessments, psychotherapy/counselling, workshops, and consultation services – all in a warm, inviting, and culturally sensitive environment. Our clients include children, teens, adults, couples, families, and agencies/school boards.
Our clinicians use approaches developed from current research. One of these is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based psychotherapy that has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of problems such as anxiety, stress, depression, and anger. The primary goal of CBT is to identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours to improve your emotional well-being. This short-term therapy focuses on "the here and now" to help clients develop strategies to overcome their challenges and make lasting change in their lives.

I had a phone appointment, but I would have preferred to be in person.
