Well, be prepared, you pay to watch maple trees , no other activities, nothing else, nothing like a festival, more like a group trail walk. The TreeWalk is a different admission and ticket.

Well I will base my 1 star on their ridiculous uninformative website, to start. Planned on going tomorrow but not after reading the reviews...the real reviews, that is!!!! You can only buy tickets online? And then it asks for a keyword? Seriously???? Everything is becoming lame anymore. What a disappointment. At least have a vm with info. Pass on this!!!! ?

Disappointing. This is supposed to be a festival. Seems like a lack of planning. Don't cite COVID as a reason to offer less to customers. No horse due to COVID? Give the kids something else then. Tickets must be bought online, parking is separate. Demonstrations were good but no maple syrup taffy. Exhibits did not seem maintained, buckets laying on ground, signs missing etc. Treetop tickets are a separate purchase and were sold out so be prepared to have your kids complaining that they can't go to it. Low effort for a "festival". Turn it up a notch!

Not worth it, everything has an extra cost, the parking, the kids area. Your ticket only includes 15 minutes walking, with two talking demostrations.

Awful experience - long car line to get in, no parking, long line to get into the tree-trekking kids area which is super expensive (15 dollars per adult, 8 for kids), and for an hour to play, in a bog of ankle-deep, unnavigable-for-children MUD. My kid immediately started crying to leave.... After we had spent 38 dollars... There was also nothing else to do there beyond the kids area either... Except to stand in more lines at two food trucks. Also the maple syrup was all sold out. Felt like a tourist trap rip off - skip this one and go somewhere better!

In a word, disappointing! We expected a guided group tour, which this was not. The gentleman explaining how First Nations people lived and hunted was good. The walking trail was crowded despite the fact we had to buy tickets for a specific time frame. The children wanted to go into the play area after but at $15 per child x3 that was not in the budget. Also there was nothing on the website to indicate we had to pay for parking on top of the ticket prices. Parking should have been included. If you want a nice walk in the woods there are other places in York Region you can go for free!

Loved the experience of the maple syrup festival. The volunteers did a great job showing everyone how that step of maple syrup was done. The food trucks had ice cream and food. We loved the chicken strips. My kids loved the maze as well.

This place is a great spot to visit for maple syrup events near the city! It's a very educational area with super knowledgeable staff and good displays about the history of maple syrup! There is a maple syrup trail with tapped trees on display from traditional methods of extracting sap, to more modern methods! There are stations along the way where demonstrations are held, and the staff will happily answer any questions along with a brief history of their demonstration! Near the end, you can also have samples of the maple syrup! Aside from this, there was a fun quick life-sized fence maze along with a do-it-yourself tree top trekking. It has a big course with lots of variations from obstacles low on the ground, to very high net covered areas! Overall this place is a fantastic area for fun and to educate anyone on maple syrup!
