About Sue's Tailoring
Starting in 1984, Sue's tailoring began in Calgary as a Bridal Store as well as a tailoring shop. As customers bought all types of gowns, Sue would be able to alter their dresses to fit them perfectly. As time went on, Sue decided to focus solely on alterations and custom design.

With the many years of experience of the Bridal store, Sue has seen and worked with all types of dresses, fabrics and designs. She has seen it all!

โ โ โ โ โ Sue is great! You get the impression she is very experienced and dedicated. In my case, she was able to make an exception and expedite the tailoring. She also noticed one of my arms was longer than the other! I myself had never noticed this, but it does affect the appearance of sleeve length and is thus relevant to tailoring. The atmosphere is a bit disheveled, but was worth it for me!

I brought her a complex trendy dress I needed tailored, and she was able to not only finish it on a tight deadline, but she noticed several other adjustments needing to be made to ensure it fit me perfectly during my try-on! For an extremely reasonable price, I am so happy to have found her services in Calgary and will 100% be back!

โ โ โ โ โ I had been searching for weeks for a tailor who would be able to replace the vegan leather sleeves on my favourite jacket, as they had begun to bubble up in spots.
Time and again, the tailors I visited with sais it was not possible, or that I would have to use real leather and pay an extraordinary amount.
Luckily, I came across Sue's Tailoring, and without hesitation she said she would be able to do the job - and for less than half of what I was quoted elsewhere. She put so much care and effort into sourcing the right material for the sleeves, and did a flawless job on sewing them. My jacket is better than new and I could not be more thrilled.
I cannot express how grateful I am to have found this fabulous tailor, and whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone looking to have quality work done.
