★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just wrapped up our whale watching tour with Brian. Can't say enough about how great this was. We were able to see sea lions, otters, eagles. It was a foggy day and after 3 hours, we thought our dreams of seeing whales were off the table. However, he called around to his contacts multiple times and finally we had the chance to see multiple humpback whales. It was really amazing. Brian really went out of our way to made sure it happened, and our tour ended up being about 4 hours. We had a blast, a smooth ride, and would recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you Subtidal!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give sub tidal adventures 10 stars I would! Have gone on whale watching tours twice in the last two years with Brian and his boat. And have gotten the real deal both times. From the tails of humpbacks to baby bears in someone’s backyard, Brian does it all. Well worth the money! And makes sure we get the whole experience no matter what timeline. Forsure must see!

Our guide Brian (with very long experience in the area) was very well informed about the local wildlife and could answer all our questions. If you are looking for a wildlife watching trip in Ucluelet this is for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding afternoon on the water! We spent 4 hours with Brian at the helm of the Dixie IV touring us through Barkley Sound. Spent a long time leisurely watching 3 Grey Whales feed on herring roe. Saw eagles and sea lions too. Comfortable, warm boat on a chilly rainy day. Brian was an excellent host. We highly recommend you try Subtidal Adventures.
