★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very easy to book with and super friendly staff. It's a little tricky to find unless you know the building it's in. My daughter and I went for nose piercings together. I felt things could've been a little more ready for our appointment but maybe it's hard to do as they might need to assess once you're there. Everything was clean and the piercer was very patient and great at calming nerves. The low rating is because I have since found out she recorded the wrong gauge of our piercing, so we now own a hoop we can't use, and that my piercing is at kind of an odd angle. I was told today if it doesn't heal better I may need to consider getting it redone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Strut Hair and Art for the first time at the end of June and left feeling super impressed and couldn’t wait to tell everyone about them! They use fully vegan and cruelty free products which is what first peaked my interest to try them out.
I had my haircut and first facial piercing (nose) done by Jonna. She was very friendly, professional and let me charge my phone as it was about to die. Offered me water and made sure I was comfortable. She walked me through the process before she did my nose piercing, explained different gauges and how to clean it. She sent me home with written instructions on how to keep it clean.
I’ve never felt as great as I did after a haircut as I did with Jonna! My hair used to be so long, heavy and boring. Now it still has length but it feels so much lighter, freer and I can finally wear it down again. I used to need to tie it back all the time in a braid or bun.
They kept everything clean and wore the proper mask(s) and aprons for Covid.
Thank you so much for the wonderful service and I will be back for sure!

Caroline was incredibly approachable and friendly, really listened to what I want and my lifestyle and gave me an amazing cut. I haven’t felt good about my appearance for a long time and I left feeling beautiful. I can’t say enough great things about them and I will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only did I love my hair cut from Jonna and no longer struggle every day to detangle my hair/battle dry damaged ends, but the products used are cruelty free, vegan and Canadian! And even better, they make as much of an effort as they can to reduce waste, reuse what they can, and recycle things that most salons wouldn't bother doing. I am very impressed and love that I finally have a salon to go to that understands my values as a waste reducing vegan myself! Highly recommend!

I’m self-conscious about my thinning hair but Caroline takes the time to cut and style it so it looks as full as possible.
