My friends and I were very lucky to have found this place. Strong water is like an oasis in the forest. My family and I loved their cabin. It was very clean , homey and beds are very comfortable. They have kept the place clean and have followed with Covid protocols. Cheyenne and Dwayne are very friendly, hospitable and accommodating. There are so many places to explore around the area. Looking forward on our next visit here again….maybe a longer stay next time!

Cheyenne and Dwayne! An absolute gem of human souls they are. What beautiful, trusting, free and loving couple living in the rustic woods amongst the ferns and cedars. I wasn't able to stay at their wonderful cabins due to the health restrictions right now, but when I asked on a wimb to borrow their canoe , it was a quick and generous yes on their end. Not only did they let me and a friend take it out, they graciously drove it to the water for us, lent us life jackets and paddles, introduced us to their splendor of animals, and let us use their groovy washroom building. Only on the Sunshine Coast will you truly experience this type of open ended generosity and trust. One day I hope to pay it forward and come stay a while at Strongwater giving back as much as you gave to me. If you're thinking of coming up the coast for a quick getaway, you will regret not staying with Cheyenne and Dwayne (and jellybean, Penelope, Rainy, Ernest, big fluffy white, and all the ducks!)

An absolute gem. Gorgeous location, everything lovingly hand-built with much attention for detail. All kinds of small animals roaming free on the grounds. Not really for big-rig full hookup camping, but if your RV is small and you don't mind just a simple electric hookup, or if you camp in a tent, or rent one of the hand-built cabins and love the outdoors this is such a great find. Shaya and Dwayne are wonderful relaxed hosts and will take time getting to know you if you let them. Many wonderful lakes, ocean waterfronts, great trails, and literally the best of what the Sunshine Coast has to offer close by. We will definitely be back to stay a longer period than the 2 nights we had this time. Thank you Shaya and Dwayne, for making this feel like a homestead instead of a campground.

Lovely campground. Kind hosts. Lots of farm animals around for the kids to play with and watch. Swimming and canoeing is a two minute walk away. Boating and fishing is another two minutes. And trails nearby for hiking. We try to come every year and everyone loves it.

Very beautiful and scenic area. Dwayne and his wife are very lovely and accommodating. There are a bunch of cute campsite animals there as well. FYI, there is no garbage and recycling so make sure you take what you bring :) Also, there is a nice hike and lake close by for activities. We are looking forward to coming back to this spot! ?

Such a cute spot. Quirky campsites, adorable little cabins, lovely wash house (washrooms with showers and an area to clean your dishes and refill water. The hosts are kind and welcoming and the animals wandering about were so great to get interrupted by! I really wanted to leave a bad review so that there’s always room for us when we come through this part of the coast :-P

The word amazing only begins to describe the Strongwater experience. We were welcomed warmly on arrival by Cheyenne and Dwayne along with their cast of beautiful creatures. The forested area provided us with two peaceful evenings of rest. The location is ideal for many Egmont escapades. We recommend checking out the Skookumchuck and the Suncoaster Trail. Strongwater campsite provided a thoughtful and serene basecamp for a weekend adventure. We look forward to future visits. Waugh Lake was a must paddle, make it back before 3 to say hello to Jellybean and the rest of the crew! :)

This place is so worth the money, just for the animals alone! We stayed for just one night in our camper van, $45. The showers and bathroom are so clean and well maintained. We were very impressed! The showers are coin operated and only take loonies FYI. The campsite is run by such lovely people. We walked over to check out the goose, chickens, roosters, dogs, and even a cute gigantic pig! They gave us both cups of feed and we had so much fun taking pics and videos. The little girl who gave us a tour of the bunnies in the back was so adorable as well. The campsite that we chose had a fire pit and bench. Even with a fire at night, we could see so many stars above us. The location of this campsite is also perfect if you are looking to do one of the boat tours in the area as everything is in such close proximity. We would love to come back again if we are in the area!
