Being new to the city I wanted to find a dental clinic that I could feel as comfortable in as I did in my dentist back home; I found it! From the first phone call through to the appointment wrap-up, I felt cared for and heard. I really appreciate that they didn't push anything and ASKED me before doing extra x-rays and adult flouride treatment; both of which would incur an extra charge. In the exam, the Doctor and the Assistant pointed out things they noticed but gave me preventative measures I could do at home to avoid them becoming issues. I appreciate the respect, the patient consideration and 100% appreciate being given the option to say no to chargable procedures. Thanks SDC Team.

I would say I have referred at least five of my friends to him and they have all come back singing his praises. He is honest, fair, thorough and attentive. 5/5 all day.

I was very anxious for my appointment but the receptionist, hygienist, and Dr. Laatsch were amazing for making me feel relaxed and comfortable. I had such a great experience that I referred a family member to them and they also had a great experience! If my other family members lived in Edmonton I would get them all to go to this place. I cannot thank Strathcona Dental enough for giving me an anxiety free experience.

I'm normally quite anxious when seeing the dentist, but after a total of four appointments so far with Dr. Wehbe, I'm feeling a lot more comfortable with seeing the dentist. You are all awesome and I'd be more than happy to recommend!!

Very thorough. Appointments can be had asap if it’s an emergency and follow up care provided is top notch. Thanks for the care!
N	No One on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for a gum infection 2 years ago and they gave me a special mouthwash and charges me for the mouthwash and cleaning which wasn't necessary as they gave me bring home supplies to clean myself. Issue pops back again and they said they would refuse to give me a prescription unless they also charged me an visit fee. They also told me that they don't always charge a visit fee for prescription but they wouldn't do it for me. Instead they told me to go to my medi clinic (who is still over the phone) to get the prescription who by the way is not a dentist. They just want to make money. They don't care about your health. Response: First off Peridex is not an antibiotic ?it's an antibacterial mouthwash. So your claims about due diligence about antibiotic treatment is incorrect. But yet you recommend I go see a doctor who is not trained in this field to get the same medicine? That's why my claim about money is warranted. I was able to call another dentist no problem to get this mouthwash. They also said you guys might overcharge because of your prime retail location. But just so we are clear on the logic: your doctor doesn't want to be liable for prescribing antibacterial mouthwash and he would rather pass off the liability to someone less experienced. When antibacterial mouthwash is barely a liability to begin with.
B	Byllie McBain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this dentist to get my wisdom teeth looked at. The dentist told me he couldn’t take them out me referred me to an expensive oral surgeon. And instead told me I needed two fillings right away. I came back for the fillings and he left crumpled foil in my mouth after the fillings. The two fillings weren’t done correctly and I still have pain while flossing because of the floss catching on the filling over a year later. When I emailed the clinic about my fillings I got a rude email back stating sometimes the fillings do that and it’s normal. I went to a different dentist and need to get the fillings redone. And also got told my wisdom teeth could be removed without the expensive oral surgeon visit. Not the best experience. That being said, the hygienist I had was really friendly and did a great job cleaning my teeth. And the prices are less than other clinics but not low enough for me to ever go back.

I found this place a few short blocks from our office. Dr. Laatch and team are always very professional and efficient. I recently went in for a cleaning and the dental hygienist let me know step by step what she was doing and seeing. She made the experience a delightful and educational one. She spoke to the fact that this is one of the oldest dental practices (serving clients for 60 +years) in Edmonton . I got to thinking about how many generations have been served here from great great grandparents down to their great great grandchildren and everyone in between. A top notch team of experienced professionals, super clean environment and state of the art technology along with excellent followup. I highly recommend this dental clinic.
