β β β β β Amazing little sanctuary. Teaches alot of valuable life lessons to have a garden in a vulnerable area. Such as acceptance and letting go when your garden is raided. Life on lifes terms. Not all hard work is rewarded when you seek the reward. It's all about the journey because you dont always reach the destination. β

β β β β β Great cozy, warm, inviting cafe. Everyone was super welcoming. Enjoyed the mushroom bowl and it was exactly what I needed. Well curated store as well with candles, beard oil, and the best licorice. Itβs now part of my Saturday morning routine

Community gardens seem to be a dying breed. This one is pretty well known amongst east Vanners, but not far beyond that. There's so much to explore; an orchard, wild areas, seasonal ponds, lots of small 'plots' (including a memorial for missing and murdered women of the dtes). They are very inexpensive with an annual fee, but also coveted....there was only one available when I was there. The place appears somewhat abandoned at this time of year (fall) but there is always someone around raking, composting, pruning...and a pleasantly surprising absence of party paraphernalia. There's a calm respectful vibe about this place....definitely a true "community" garden.
