The Sault Ste. Marie Horse and Pony Club (SSMHPC) is continually seeking boarders and/or interested community members to assist on the Board of Directors or around the farm. SSMHPC's daily operations are overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors who meet once a month to ensure the farm is able to continue providing our equestrian community with ongoing access to the facility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful horses, so well cared for. The staff and young volunteers are so friendly and helpful. We came for a very short visit, just to see horses, my daughter adores these creatures. Everyone was so nice, especially Vera and one of the young girls, unfortunately we did not get her mame. They showed us around, and shared lots of stuff about horses. Great place and people!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strathclair is full of a bunch of immature people and the board of directors that runs it is even more immature. They make the rules to accommodate themselves and not what is best for the business. If you don’t bow down and “obey” specific people on the board you will be targeted and written up until you are kicked out. I will never board at this facility again, it’s a constant headache just thinking about the place. Disappointed as it had so much potential but the board is running it to the ground.
