NOT A RELIABLE PLACE TO MAKE YOUR PURCHASE!!!! Bought a in stock unit subject to owners approval and next day received a call that they will give vehicle to another customer because he/she is buying additional services. Again promised that they will order vehicle from factory but 4 Weeks down the road they called to refund my deposit after vehicle arrived because they sold that vehicle to someone who bought EXTRAS !!! This dealership pressurize you to UPSELL on their products or they will not sell you a New Vehicle. Shame on you guys!

This review is directed entirely towards the sales department. They have an extremely professional service and parts department. I feel compelled to write this review as this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced poor sales reps at Stouffville Toyota. I want to highlight Haig. That experience started friendly until I told him I was actively looking around but wasn’t looking to purchase immediately. after this the atmosphere was awkward. We both sat in silence and I left disappointed. Very surprising that Toyota employs unprofessionals. Do better Stouffville Toyota.

Terrible experience with Stouffville Toyota. I booked an appointment to see a car at nite, got a call in the morning to confirm my booking and told them I will be on my way to see the car. I was told to come in and ask for "King Arthor". I took time off work to come see the car and drove 45 minutes. When I got to the dealership I walked in and heard someone leaving a message about the vehicle I drove to see. Apparently they just sold the car I went to see 5 minutes before I arrived. How is this professional? Why call someone to confirm to see a vehicle and sell it right before they arrive? Absolutely unprofessional and shows what integrity this dealership has, I will never purchase a vehicle from this place and suggest to everyone else to look elsewhere. Wasting people's time especially during covid is unacceptable, I booked an appointment, had verbal confirmation that I will be on my way and sell the car? Unbelievable....King Arthor is the king of lies, thanks Stouffville Toyota for wasting my day and time.

My husband and I have been dealing with various Toyota dealerships for years, and truthfully have never been impressed with the service we’ve received. After dealing with one of your representatives I felt compelled to reach out and acknowledge his efforts. Daniel in the service department is by far the most pleasant and competent person we have had the pleasure of dealing with. His knowledge and professionalism far exceed what would be expected of any employee let alone someone of his age. People of his caliber are rare and I would suggest that your team invests in his future within your organization. Not only is Daniel wonderful but so is Bill their shuttle driver and the front desk staff (I forgot her name!) but she was so kind and accommodating.

A few years ago the dealer was full of cars. Now the wind is blowing through this dealership. There are only a few cars which are sold. The dealer does not want to have cars in stock and looks to maximize profits by ordering the car. It is impossible to take a car for a test drive because the dealer does not have that car in stock. Another trick is to put an order as suggested by the sales team saying there is no obligation to buy it. Obviously no need to sign anything on any order. The purchaser is forced to pay the MSRP plus $800 administrative fees and an extended warranty. From no obligation to buy that transforms into an obligation to sign a VEHICLE PURCHASE AGREEMENT !!!! Do not sign anything. Just take the Vehicle Purchase Agreement, and find an excuse regarding administration fees and leave. A dealer when sees a person interested to buy a car and the purchaser discusses the price, he is sure that deal is going through.

???Warning! Stay away from Stouffville Toyota!??? In August, I was looking to purchase a new car and went to Stouffville Toyota on the recommendation of an acquaintance. It was my first time purchasing a car in Canada and I wanted to deal with someone who could speak Cantonese. During the purchase process, I didn’t have a lot of specific requirements and wasn’t negotiating on price and chose from the styles and options they had available. When reviewing the final purchase order, I noticed two warranty items totalling over $3000 and asked the salesman called Stella for more details on what these items were. She refused to provide further details and would only say they were “mandatory charges” that I had to pay. As I couldn’t get a reasonable answer, I tried to take a picture of the invoice so I could ask my friend about the “mandatory charges”. Upon seeing me take a picture, the salesman Stella got upset and yelled that I was being disrespectful and I wasn’t allowed to take pictures of the invoice. Being vulnerable and new to Canada, I thought she was telling the truth that pictures weren’t allowed and signed the purchase order. After going home and asking friends, I found out that the warranty items I was charged for are actually optional. The next day, I went back to the dealership with a friend and requested the purchase order be put on hold due to my concerns. Stella agreed to put the purchase order on hold and said she would help me when I had decided what to do. Two weeks after, I tried to contact Stella but she was busy and said she would look for my purchase order and call me back when she found it. Another two weeks passed and I called Stella again asking if I could get a refund of my deposit and she replied yes. I arrived at the dealership about half an hour later and she brought me to meet with the financial services manager Ali Ahmad. After he and Stella talked, he immediately said they couldn’t refund the deposit and the car had been ordered and had already arrived at the dealership and they had been trying to contact me to let me know. In fact, I have not received any calls or emails and had requested the order be stopped the day after it was placed. I turned to Stella and she denied I requested she stop the order even though I came back with my friend who witnessed my request. In fact, when I requested she stopped the order the next day, she had another client at the time who asked her why I was asking to hold my order and she made rude comments about how I couldn’t afford it and I was new to Canada and had probably never bought a car so expensive. In the end, I told the Financial Services manager I would complain and he said go ahead, he wasn’t afraid. I just want to warn all newcomers to be careful when buying their first car. Don’t let yourself be cheated by dishonest car salespeople. Especially be careful with added warranty items which are not mandatory.

The service at Stouffville Toyota was the best I've experienced in a very long time. Since new, my 2019 Camry has been well looked after. When my panoramic roof stopped working I thought it would be a quick fix, but I soon learned that this was potentially a very complicated and expensive replacement. Service advisor John, and shop foreman Manny were able to fix the roof at a reasonable cost thanks to their experience, professionalism, dedication and MacGyverism. They were honest and up front with me, took the time to explain the difficult task ahead, and completed it despite their busy schedule. I was very happy with the result. The staff are top notch. I can't say enough about the service I received. I highly recommend Stouffville Toyota Service.
