Bas and Liliane are talented and passionate artisians that are quick to explain every part of their journey and how their business has evolved. The Pottery and Jewlery is stunning and of such quality and uniqieness, its diffuclt to decide on gifts or self keepers. From the tour of the immaculate studio, to the view that is breathtaking of a pure green rolling hill with an panormaic view of Lake Commanda. A fern lined driveway and magestic forest that looks like something out of National Geographic. Then, to meet the owners is the highlight, with their genuine and honest personalities that ooze passion and talent in creating pottery, glass works and jewellery. To hear the history and how the property was acquired confirms the solid grounds for such a magically place to experience and take everything in that Stonethrow has to offer. Its not the usual experience. Be prepared to be impressed, take home fabulous memories and an urge to go back at your earliest convenience. We are fortunate to have such talent in our own back yard. Thank you both for sharing your gifts and time with your customers that are fortunate enough to discover such a gem. Loved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the great opportunity to visit Stonethrow Pottery in Loring-Restoule in the summer of 2013. Bought some great pottery that is both beautiful and functional and learned a lot about how it was made. My wife loves cooking in it, she says things taste just that much better and believe me they sure seem to.
Hoping to make a trip back in the spring to see the herds of deer looking for food. There's some local shops in Muskoka (Huntsville & Bracebridge) that carry their product but if you want the best selection and to really hear the story behind it's creation it's worth the drive.

Loved the pottery, jewelry and owners. Spent a bundle for gift giving as there is something for everyone and plan to save and spend some more. Every piece is unique so is one of a kind. Items range from dishes, planters, indoor and outdoor decor, earings, necklaces, fun items etc. Prices are fair!! A very unique display of art. It is great seeing the artists in action making their pottery and jewelry on site. The shop is set on a hill with a million dollar view. Must check it out to see for yourself. Well worth the trip! Plan to return often. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
