The other man in the office offered no greeting or anything, just carried on his merry way. Customer service zero and stones there for 7.50 are selling at home depot for 4 dollars. So there's close to 10k of my money they won't be seeing.

The person at the counter (a mature man) treated me like a kid when I picked up one of the pieces placed randomly outside of the office saying they were samples only (no visible sign saying so). Won't comeback again....huge difference compared to the friendly customer service (e.g. Ginette) you receive at Grand River Natural Stone just a few kms away

This morning I was excited to go back and purchase supplies for a not insignificant landscaping project. But I was so disappointed. This stone yard's service came up VERY short — I ended up walking away, utterly frustrated. I'll rather spend my money with a supplier who wants my business, treats me as a valued customer and helps me build a happy memory of a landscaping project that will be with me for years to come.

The second encounter a year later was quite a bit different - very rude and unpleasant, to the point that I would not return for my future projects. I guess the service greatly depends on who you are dealing with here, hit or miss.

I had a very large order to place (several thousands of dollars) and the man was abrasive and rude while cutting me off. When I informed him that I would take my business elsewhere, his response was "that's fine" and he promptly hung up. The whole conversation on the phone was under 1 minute. Never ever will I shop there. Customers are your business, treat them with respect and patience!
